Dam valley home stay resort

​I recently had a fantastic stay at the Dam Valley Home Stay Resort in Valparai and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. ​The stay itself was wonderful, offering clean, comfortable, and well-maintained rooms. The entire resort felt very fresh and tidy. However, a crucial tip for future guests: be sure to book a room on the first or second floor. The views from these floors are truly magnificent, while the ground floor view is not as good. ​From the balcony of the first or second floor, you can clearly see the dam valley, which is a stunning sight. It's particularly magical in the evening when you can relax and watch a beautiful sunset. ​A special shout-out must go to the caretaker, Vishnu. He was incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed and making our stay completely stress-free. His dedication really made a difference! ​Important Travel Advice: ​Mobile network access is limited (or non-existent) in this area, which is perfect for an unplugged trip, but challenging for navigation. ​The route shown on Google Maps is incorrect. I strongly advise that you contact the resort directly before you start your journey. They will gladly arrange for someone to meet you or guide you with accurate directions at the time of your arrival. This one simple step will save you a lot of hassle! ​Overall, despite the slight navigation hiccup (which is easily solved by calling ahead), the beautiful location, the very clean rooms, and the excellent service from Vishnu made this a truly memorable and positive experience.

You'll have a good view if you stay on the 1st and 2nd floor as it has a balcony view on the dam and tea estate. I have missed it as I've stayed at the ground floor. The rooms are decent and clean. We have to pre book if we need food in the stay. Almost most mobile networks won't work in that area. They have a Wi-Fi connection with average speed.
