The Himalayan Home
Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to clarify a few things for future guests' understanding. Our property is a homestay, not a typical hotel, which is also clearly marked on MMT with the Homestay flag. We have just 3 rooms, and hence, one caretaker is usually sufficient to manage the space and assist guests. The rooms are 250 sq. ft., as shown in the photos, with large windows to ensure good ventilation and natural light. The house was originally not built for commercial purposes, which adds to its charm and uniqueness. Additionally, there's an 800 sq. ft. sit-out area outside, offering guests a spacious and open environment — definitely not suffocating. Please note that you made a same-day booking during a long weekend, which didn't allow us enough time to communicate all the details about the property in advance. We strive to offer one of the most affordable stays in Nainital with an authentic homestay experience. Still, we appreciate your inputs and will keep working to improve.

It was worst experience ever because when i booked then they told to me go somewhere else but there was no room available they told that rooms are sold out, i was in big trouble and i didn't got my refund also

The hotel transferred me to a different hotel langdale manor. They did not provided drinking water tv was not working non one bothered

Wrong location as well as no feel of stay in hotel

Totally disappointed.no hot water facility having low flow of water on tapes. Location not found. no quality of cleanliness of room bed sheet as well as no cover of blanket no clean towel. No security only one care taker which is not cooperative in any way. Pols book this property if no any other option to stay in nainital. Far from lake as well as no other mode of transport.

The hotel is at a very good location, there is no facility, nothing, there is no facility, i called the reception at 10:00, the phone was not even picked up, very bed service, very very poor hotel, the worst hotel of my life.
