Poor Housekeeping Services, Basic items like drinking water, toilet soaps not provided by the staff. They don't clean the dirty bedsheet, the room is full with different insects.

We recently travelled to Nainital for a relaxing trip and booked our stay in Sukoon Lake view with balcony (upper property). The view from the property added to the feeling of its name 'Sukoon'. The lake view from the upper property, I feel is one of the best in Nainital. A low height wooden roof also adds to the feeling of staying in a cottage. However, please don't expect anything else from the stay as it's BnB. Availability of meals is subject to weather conditions. The staff is cooperative and changed the bedsheet on request at checkin, but the flush in the toilet didn't work properly all throughout the stay. If you're fond of wildlife, you'll enjoy the company of Langoors in the morning. The walk from & to mall road is a 20 mins steep climb/decent.

Host was very rude. Initially he shared wrong location and was arguing to even females. Was an horrible experience.

Very terrible experience with hotel ambiance even i don’t checked in and charged fully payment This sukoon lake view is doesn’t a hotel it’s a below under standard home stay with very smelly rooms very dirty clothes and unhealthy everything. We tried to resolve these issues with owner but they can’t helped me. I was with family and kids faced lots of issues and returned next day. Totally spoiled my trip jointly by home stay owner Requesting all travelers never book prepaid hotel .

We have booked 2 balcony view rooms and paid for the same but got only 1 balcony view and 1 without balcony view room.

I have travelled in winter and the room was so cold. After closing doors the cold air was passing through the gap within floor and door. balcony is shared. I have immediately find a hotel and shift there. You can opt it in summer only at a price of less than a thousand.

A nightmare stay at sukoon stays our recent stay at sukoon stays was nothing short of a disaster. The property was in a deplorable state, with broken furniture, faulty doors, and inadequate insulation, leading to a freezing cold night. The staff's indifference was appalling. They refused to provide basic amenities like blankets or extra bedding, despite our urgent needs, especially with a 9-month-old baby. The situation worsened when our child fell ill due to the harsh conditions. Our request for a heater was met with a ridiculous charge, even though it wasn't clearly mentioned in the description. The lack of essential facilities was shocking. The geyser was non-functional, water supply was erratic, and parking was a major issue. The advertised 8-minute walk to the lake turned into a 20-minute ordeal. The food was an absolute disgrace, inedible even for stray dogs. The property lacked basic amenities like a lawn, room service, or even a landline phone. The staff's rude behavior and exorbitant prices compounded the misery. Disheartened and frustrated, we cut short our vacation and returned home. Such a terrible experience has completely soured our view of sukoon stays The lake distance was 20minutes from car which would have taken 2 hours on foot so we left the property the next day at 9am. Their name should not be sukoon stays it should be horrible stays.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful and the food they served was delicious. Also view from the hotel was beautiful. I would surely want to visit again.

Terrible experience for the first time while booking through make my trip app, no one coming for sweep and mop. The bed sheets are also the worst, no sleepers at the washroom and after asking so many times they gave slippers which can't wear in the foot cause sleepers are sleepy in the washroom.

Cozy room with efficient service staff…we reached late and they guided us well in the rain and prepard food Car can go up and there is parking for about 5 cars so let them know in advance if you want parking.

We were happy with our room and just loved the view of lake from our room. Cleaning and bedsheets were also fine. Good place for families and couples and safe place to stay when in nainital. They can do better with their service speed.
