Hotel Rajmahal(Heritage)

we found this hotel through make my trip itself, view is great, good interior. they provided all amenities as listed. the view from hotel is terrific. it's located in a steep, so you may need take a short walk to reach there rest all is good.

The route to hotel is a tad difficult as vehicles may not go till the hotel. It’s on elevation. So, I won’t refer it to family with elderly parents or any movement issues. We booked a 4-bedded room which was nice and spacious but there was no mountain view from the room. However, the staffs were very cordial right from the front desk to all the housekeeping. Kudos for being so nice to their customers. They arranged cabs for us to bus stop, though the fare was high. The view from the lobby and balcony was good and overall it’s a beautiful place to stay. I would recommend it for all the right reasons :)

Courteous staff, comfortable rooms and amazing food, overall we had a great stay here.

I stayed in Hotel Rajmahal for 2 nights. Stay was very good rooms are well furnished hygienic and spacious. View from room was excellent. Excellent view of lake and the mountains from room window itself. Staff are very cooperative and hospitable. Food was average but doesn’t matter much as this hotel is near to mall road and there are plenty of options for food. Only drawback was the approach road to hotel is narrow and steep, taking car to parking is a challenge and walking down to mall road need lots of effort. Overall is a good experience.

My recent stay at the Hotel Rajmahal Heritage in Nainital was unfortunately quite disappointing. While the hotel's heritage name might suggest a certain charm, the reality of the room conditions fell far short of expectations. The most significant issue was the complete lack of ventilation in the room, which led to a persistent foul smell that was very unpleasant. Adding to this discomfort, the room was plagued by excessive moisture, to the point where even the linens felt damp and wet. This made for a very uncomfortable and unhygienic environment. Furthermore, despite the warm weather, the air conditioning was not working, which only exacerbated the stuffiness and discomfort caused by the poor ventilation. It's also worth noting that the rooms do not have balconies, which would have at least offered some relief and a breath of fresh air. Overall, the issues with ventilation, smell, dampness, and non-functional AC made for a very uncomfortable and regrettable experience. I would caution others to consider these points before booking a stay here.

Hotel was nice room are clean and staff behaviour was very polite. Also food was fresh and hygienic. Price are also cheaper as comparison to outside hotels

The hotel management is very poor. The parking zone is at a very high location and only an expert driver can park in that location. Our clutch pad broke while trying to park in the hotels alloted parking. The AC was not working and when we told the manager about that he simply replied AC’s work only in summers. The food was average. Overall the experience was not impressive.

Property was good , have good open space, good spacious rooms and good supporting staff, improvements required on food. AppApproach road to the hotel is quite steep., however overall experience was good

Nice place to stay in Nainital near Mall Road Very efficient staff and top class hospitality. Suggest every one to stay here.

Rooms felt moist as windows are small and lack ventilation which makes it very pathetic also i faced alot of issues with the Washroom as there were drainage issues it was choked and shower handel was broken and washroom exhaust was useless and with no window or ventilation it was suffocating and smelling bad, Location of the Hotel is shown to be on Mall Road but its at a good height which needs alot of Strength and Lung capacity to reach to the rooms.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was beautiful. Everything was perfect except the steep slope to reach the hotel.

The hotel has a steep trekking slope which is very difficult to walk especially for aged ones. The hotel had amazing views and the stay was nice.

I found this property in MMT and believe me guys it's good. It has a long terrace.. you can sit there and enjoy the weather..rooms are good, employees and staff were good. you feel like home. Only issue is the way from Mall road to parking is very stiff...I did not face any problem but people who are not familiar with hills driving might face bit issue and also after parking you need to track approx 300 mtrs. to reach the hotel.

Staff was not supportive, I asked for extra Rajayi for my kids he said the store is locked we can't provide. And on the day of check out they keep on telling that you'll have to check out by 10AM even though it was off season and there was no customer waiting there very bad behaviour Also the road towards hotel is worst in whole nainital, very narrow and broken,

It was a nice place to stay. Only thing is that don’t drive your car upward yourself. Hotel staff helps

Good hotel to stay with family. Location is also good. Food quality is very good. Amenities need to improve.
