🌟 A Hidden Gem in the Hills – Flamingo Cottage, Nainital 🌟 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Our stay at Flamingo Cottage was nothing short of magical. Tucked away amidst the serene hills of Nainital, this charming property is the perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and breathtaking views. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality that made us feel like family. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, tastefully furnished, and radiates a cozy, homely vibe. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and sipping tea while overlooking the misty valley was an experience we won’t forget. 🌄 Location: Ideal for anyone looking to escape the chaos and soak in nature. Just a short walking distance feom Nainital Mall Road, yet secluded enough to offer peace and privacy. 🛏️ Rooms: Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with wooden interiors that match the mountain ambiance. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view from our window was postcard-perfect. 🍳 Food: Home-cooked meals were a delightful highlight. Every dish was made with love, fresh ingredients, and tasted like comfort food from home. 💁‍♂️ Service: The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Whether it was helping us with travel tips, arranging local transport,-they were always a call away, and always with a smile.Special thanks to Mr.Omprakash for everything.

Review of family suite Room

The cottage is located in a great spot, just 230 meters uphill from Mall Road. Cars and two-wheelers can reach the property, although the slope is quite steep, which makes walking a bit challenging. Younger people can manage it easily, but it may be slightly difficult for elderly guests. The room was very clean, and all essential amenities were provided exactly as shown in the pictures. The caretaker, Om Prakash, is extremely humble and genuine. He is the main highlight of the property—very helpful and always just a phone call away for any assistance. He also helped us arrange a good cab driver. The view from the cottage is beautiful—you can see Naina Devi Temple and Naini Lake. Everything was perfect, and we truly loved our stay. If we visit Nainital again, we will definitely choose to stay here.

The stay is very homely with all essential facilities available. We stayed in the family suite and the room was very spacious with excellent view of the lake. Mr. Om was very helpful and took very good care of us. Although the choice of food items were limited, the taste of the food made up for it. The only drawback is the steep climb which maybe difficult if you are travelling with elderly people. Overall the stay is worth it given the price and better than many Flamingo Cottages in the area available at a higher price

The location is perfect and very close to the lake. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff wqw very respectful and accomodating. The owner is a nice guy too, he got pastries and patties for us, which was a very sweet gesture. Overall the experience was good the caretaker was friendly and helpful. The property had all the listed amenities. A few drawbacks of the property were that it was on a high altitude place and had to walk heights to reach the location also the mattress was not clean
