The Dukes Retreat, Khandala

Pleasant experience. Great staff and clean rooms. Food was good and the view was also quite exciting.

The stay was no doubt in a beautiful location but it was under renovation..the main discomfort was,stay was in different building and rest everything like pool,restaurants and even hi tea was in another building..To travel everytime for everything was not comfortable..And the main thing..we went to have spa but apparently spa needs to be booked earlier only..It was no where mentioned..we went to book and was being told there are no slots available..we requested a lot but in vain..Then I asked if head spa or foot spa any mini service is available or not, they said 30 mins massage is available nothing after that because they have clients and because of renovation, rooms are limited..I did 30 mins massage and came out quickly because they said they have clients..but I could see no one..No one came after me..the spa room was vacant,the therapist was also vacant..I was there waiting for my friend for more than an hour and no body came..Which told me that they simply didn't wanted to do full time massage..they might have agreed for half an hour's session because it was comparatively costlier than that of full body massage..I felt like I was cheated..The only purpose of me booking Duke's resort was to have spa...I wanted to enjoy that...but they didn't let me..I might not go there because of this.. Rest everything specially the staff who showed us around and took us to the room named Anshita from Kerala was very sweet..She did her duty with a smile on her face always..

Amazing Location. Checked in at 2 pm and felt it’s just a normal resort but the whole scenario changed at around 4 pm. The complete property was covered in fog, beautiful place with modern amenities only drawback is the cost of food rest everything are excellent.

Property was amazing with good view for Valley view room and the sit out was great experience especially while it rains and the fogs. Food was amazing we had dinner as well as breakfast.. the quality was quite visible. Facilities completely 10/10, with no complaints at all,

Everything was excellent, starting with a welcome, greeting by their staff, ambiance at the entire resort... The swimming pool is the main attraction .. water was the best... really enjoyed the Jacuzzi .. The rooms are so specious & clean... the view from the room and restaurant was amazing... so overall it was a memorable visit.. Thanks to The Dukes Retreat Team

Good food, fantastic location

The stay was good, the staff were excellent, helpful and polite. It is located near several points which we sadly couldn't due to weather. Food was good and restaurant services were excellent. The services provided and Amenities provided were good. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

We regularly go to Dukes but this time we had a horrible experience with the staff and the management. In our previous visits we have always been given an upgrade being regulars but this time we did not get an upgrade and got a horrible room. On paying for the upgrade we had to wait endlessly for the room. After room allotment the key was not working on reaching the room. The temperature control pool was also not functioning and the guard refuse to start it saying it will take a very long time to heat. Overall the management and hospitality has become extremely laid back and rude. Beauty property but bad hospitality.

Specious room,hospitality was good.As it was festival season ,we received Modaks as a surprise in our room.Hi tea service was little slow .lot of variety in food and taste was good

Room was good, but there are only few activities to do in the resort. Also, restaurant vibe was also not you to the mark. Breakfast was very good

Monsoons being the best time to visit here, the first thing that is evident is the great location of this hotel with a valley view. It gets foggy and cloudy within minutes, and you can enjoy the weather around this time. Also, the in-house restaurants offer good quality food.

I was "not alloted" room which was displayed on make my trip portal. I had booked a cliff view room, thinking it is in their original property. based on the photo on make my trip it was the original property but in actual it was a new building which looked more like b&b rather than a resort, and it was far from a cliff. not sure its property fault or make my trips but it spoiled my experience.

Stay was good. Highlight was the temperature controlled swimming pool. Food quality and variety was good as well.

Our stay at the resort was overall pleasant, largely because of the beautiful weather and the stunning views. The property is huge and houses two restaurants—one of them being an Italian restaurant that’s conveniently open anytime. We had opted for the breakfast and dinner package. However, we were quite surprised to find ourselves waiting in a queue for over 35 minutes during both meals. It was disappointing to see that the resort doesn’t have the dining capacity to handle peak hours, especially at this price point. While the surroundings and ambiance are lovely,

Dukes retreat is a decent luxury hotel. View is not that great from valley view with sit out.

The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast, which is essential for work or staying connected. The fitness center was adequately equipped, and the pool was clean and relaxing. I also appreciated small touches like complimentary toiletries, bottled water, and a well-stocked tea/coffee station in the room.
