Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa, Uttarakhand

We stayed at taj rishikesh for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday in the first week of august. Room: we booked the superior room for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 1 & 4 yrs. The resort was kind enough to arrange for a cake for us on account of my birthday. The room was perfect size for us. The room & bathroom were squeaky clean, with basic amenities, like kettle, tea & coffee, welcome fruits, iron, toiletries, fresh towels and bathrobes. We had a balcony attached, with beautiful view of the gang-es and mountains. Please note, the balcony doors had to be kept shut at all times due to monkeys. Property & services: the resort was absolutely beautiful and well maintained, with access to ganga beach for ganga aarti in the evening. Swimming pools for adults and toddlers were both clean, overlooking the river. They had a kids game room too. Spa, gym, yoga sessions were also available (though we did not use them. We ate at the pool side restaurant and the main restaurant at the lobby floor, both served delicious food. Food: the morning buffet had a good variety of food, very tasty, and they even made separate food for our kids on request. The main restaurant and pool side restaurant also served us good food both quality and quantity wise. In-room dining service was also quick. Staff: we were especially very impressed with the staff’s attitude and efficiency. They were so patient and polite with our kids. The chef was also very kind enough to make food for our kids on request. Overall, we had an absolutely amazing experience at the resort, and we would love to come back.

We had a very comfortable stay at taj rishikesh under the able leadership of mr ritesh bhatt the general manager and his team including virender at the restaurant. The property is beautifully designed with mountain architecture. The cottages are well spaced out and each one has a fab view. The food is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience. Taj as always provided us with the best service and comfort. They went ahead and upgraded our room without even us asking. The warmth and the zeal to serve by each and every staff member was just outstanding. Went there for our parent’s 40th anniversary and it couldn’t have been better.

Our stay in rishikesh was truly serene. We had exclusive access to the ganga river from the taj, which made the experience even more special. The morning yoga sessions were refreshing, and the food was not only delicious but also hygienic.

This place truly stands out. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the non veg dishes and desserts. All staff is so humble. Must visit place. The ganga arati was an amazing experience

It's a beautiful property with great views of the mountains and the river ganga. Service and food are great. The spa treatments are too good. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained

Over exaggerated prices and hype. Location is amazing. Food needs to have better spread. Hospitality was best

Beautiful property, with excellent hospitality. Kid friendly. Only downside is that the property is far and the airport pick ups and drop offs are paid.
