Rosastays South Goa - Heritage Portuguese Villa

Rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly on regular basis n not just before the guest arrives. Furniture, cutlery in common areas was not clean..plates provided by the property during lunch on the first day had a layer of dust

A wonderful stay with family Feb 2025. Family We had a good stay with family of 3 from 27th Feb to 1st March (2 Nights). Property is located on the main road around 5-6 km from Cavelossim Beach and 7 Km from Varca Beach. We had a Goa local Cocum as welcome drink. It was very fresh and tasty. Staff was excellent and good hospitality especially Mr. Anil very helpful and cooperative. Wonderful experience of pool side breakfast. Food quality was good. Only missing thing is there was no TV and Refrigerator in the room which caused lots of inconvenience as they don't provide water bottles and outside water bottle can not be kept cold. Also referifator is an essential and missing. Also room furniture and carpets looks very old and need paint or replacement. A balcony room with balcony view was Excellent. Overall 4 out of 5

The rosastays south goa villa on the days that we stayed at was fully empty. It's not a hotel, more like a guest house or homestay. The caretaker anil is over-prompt. He asks if you want to have meals about a 100 times every day since they need to prepare it in advance. There is obviously no room service, no mini fridge in the room, just a very basic amenities (ac/geyser. Our bathroom also had a mould infestation on the ceiling. The bed linen wasn't super clean, even the lampshades were nasty and unclean. Basically it's not on the care taker, it's on the owner to shell some money into the upkeep of this beautiful vintage villa. Please don't have guests put up with moulding in the name of it being "traditional and super old. All in all i don't see myself going here again, although big ups to anil for doing his job well although he can definitely dial his meal questions down a bit.

Bunglow is beautifully maintained. Food is good. Pool is clean. Away from hustle and bustle of the city. Anil was our host. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a very calming and beautiful experience, the location is very peaceful and allows a perfect getaway. The rooms are also spacious and well maintained. The people were very helpful, thank you to mr. Glenn and mr. Iayyapan for their service and hospitality. Overall a very good experience for us.
