Pondy Villa Sentosa

Forget breakfast, there was no coffee and tea provided. Basic! In that case , I wouldn't want to come back here , sorry to say . The villa is beautiful and well maintained. And the staff was helpful in her own way .

The property was good but not managed properly. For one of my friends they gave shampoo and soaps but not for me. Even rooms were smelling badly plus no cleanliness. The housekeeping staff is asking for money as i asked to clean my room that too it's their duty to do so. I will not recommend it to anyone.

Property was good but they should provide breakfast, tea, coffee atleast as with children accompanying it is relatively harder to always go outside for lunch and dinner

Cleanliness of a room, washroom was hopeless, no proper maintenance at all it was just like an lodge not worth for money which we paid. Rain water drips inside the room from the roof, they dont even provide dental kit, soap as basic complementary and there is no breakfast facility. At least proper maintenance is required interms of cleanliness.

We have taken stay of 4 nights 5 days only at villa santosa which was good. Room and toilet was clean. Staff is also helpful.

Property is okay. But mire professional approach is required.

On the plus side, it has an old world charm to it, though the rooms can be more airy and well ventilated otherwise there's a moldy smell in some rooms. The food served is quite good and home made kind. The staff is good but they are not very forthcoming in sorting out issues faced. The housekeeping is ok and the rooms when asked to clean are not done upto the mark. Location is a bit downside since it's a little far from the more prime and happening area of the french colony and rock beach. But overall good though a little over priced during peak season.

Dirty bedding, dust, web and rust. Washroom fitting too dirty. This could be good hotel if management is good. No staff. Only 1-2 ladies are managing everything. We avoided complimentary breakfast on account of poor hygiene

It was excellent experience to stay in villa sentosa, if anyone wants to stay in heritage building with good hospitality, then it is for you. Safe for family stay. It is near to mg road and local market with food options. You may not get hotel like facilities but will have good experience of old south indian house and breakfast. No, it was final review. The property is located in a residential area away from the french quarter. As for the hygiene and safety standards, the property was under renovation and filled with dust, which has to be communicated to the customer in advance. Outdoors a mess and indoors with dust.

First of all i want to say to makemytrip, that don't get property like this one. Pols once there before listing in your page. When we arrived there is no proper staff and full of dust, as thee was renovation going on. No wifi, no customer service staff and and no body there to check about our stay. Very poor service the room is not costly as you listed. With the same price i see another better hotel than. Pols remove the propery from your list so that any other customer will not cheated. I never stayed a hotel like this. It is also not good for you. I need some compensation from the hotel for our miserable stay.

Antique property, great feel. Good food. No parking available. You have to park street sides.

This is an old heritage property. Typical old tamil architecture. It has a beautiful feel, with a courtyard, and classic old furniture. All in all loved the stay. The only inconvenience is the salty water in the taps. But if you are looking for heritage stays then this is probably one of the most amazing places to stay in budget

About safety there is no issues its located in main area. Rooms are clean and hygiene. We not taken any food orders there we had from nearer hotels

Stayed with family. Old heritage type house rather than a hotel.

Beautiful old house and architecture. The rooms were big with lovely old furniture. The bathroom was decent with nice hot water. However the place can be better maintained. The entrance was messy with only one caretaker looking after the place. One of the taps in the bathroom had a leak. They also don't provide food.

Villa sentosa was one of the highlights from our trip to pondicherry.

Overall good property to stay. Max payment could be around 1. 5k to be reasonable
