Club Mahindra Thekkady

Good with great exposure. Had fun and the climate was good there. We friends of 14 enjoyed the trip

My recent stay at Club Mahindra, Thekkady was pleasant & memorable. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable & the location was perfect for exploring Thekkady.

Very super resort, very peaceful and enjoy. Playing area, swimming pool, restaurant very nice food also very super,

Resort is good but it was found that manager is selling the room to outside guests on cash basis which is very surprising as club mahindra members who really want to opt for the room are not getting it

Overall good location and decent rooms. Service was not great as staff were not very prompt.

This is not well maintained property. 15 year old. Also, they do not have 12 hour restaurant menu. Not worth the price. Also, overall club mahindra treat non members as not a ideal customer category.

Too much time taken while check in and check out. For luggage we have to wait for 40 min. Service was very slow

A terrible smell was coming from the room after we leave after giving the payment cash, the people call that you have made the payment or not not good menege ment in thekdi.

Really enjoyed staying. There was a get together in evening of games, catwalk, fashion show and dancing competition. Really enjoyed and most of all got prizes. Worth staying.

Good property, good staff and good service.

Enjoyed the property, however, both dinner and breakfast were terrible. Not value for money.

Not a nice place to go on vacation. Ambiance of the resort is not up-to the mark. We have asked for the tea in the morning but they have responded that milk has yet not arrived, so can't give tea. Even they do not have drivers room, as per hotel manager we do not have the room for the driver and he has to spent the night in the car only and all the drivers are spending night in the car.

Quality of food needs improvement n front staff harassed us for payment of bills. They don't have record n asking us to provide proof. First of all asked full payment as per their account. When I told we had paid fifty percent already, then told pay high. I have to show letter from your office stating only due amount was to be pay. Every moment your front staff including manager was harassed us. Please make an inquiry and correct your staff. We will not recommend your property to anyone.

We have stayed in a studio room, which has a mini kitchen attached within the room. The room is quite large to accommodate 4 people. The food is very expensive. I recommend one has to book the room including breakfast and dinner which you will get at very reasonable rates from online booking sites. The Club Mahindra travel desk should be avoided since they are charging double amount. One can explore the sight-scene on their own.

Wonderful place to be there for a hang out.

(Please Note: I visited this hotel after staying at Mountain Club - Munnar and hence my expectations were high after experiencing awesome service from Mountain Club. List of Events as it occured. Checked in - took a while for them to process check-in but was OK. Was shown to the room. Bags, however reached the room only after 35 minutes (and 3 reminders to reception, third being very stern). Room was good. Later that evening, we locked ourselves out (the door always requires a key to open from outside. :) and had contacted reception again. Another 20 minutes later, I had to visit the reception to remind them again (second visit for the same key issue), and by the time I came back to my room, I saw a guy with keys coming out of an opp block. The housekeeping section was right opposite to my room and it took a solid 40 minutes for them to get spare keys. Dinner - went with ala carte and not buffet. Ordered and after 1.5 hours, got a horrible tasting food. Checked-out a day early.

Overall excellent.

This hotel is very poorly maintained. The couch in our room was badly stained and the fruit provided in the room was not fresh. They should have not offered us such fruit in the first place. Bathrooms need a good renovation. We did get a good room after complaining about the standard of the room. The only pleasing part in our stay was the excellent food made by Chef N Murali. Generally we felt that, this beautiful property is poorly maintained and has some good staff. I would not recommend this property until Club Mahindra improves and renovates all its rooms up to international standards.

The hotel is too expensive for the services they provide.
