Review Of The Bhowmick Bungalow

All Good but room size is too small which I don’t like

The experience was unlike any other homestay. We spent the evening chatting with our host and learning about the history of the bungalow. He sat with us and kept us company during both dinner and breakfast. We learned how this bungalow stood strong during the Indo-China War of 1962. It was such an enriching and fulfilling experience. We thought we were going to a typical homestay, but we were treated like their own children. A much recommended stay

It was a pleasant stay. The host of the property was courteous and warm. All the staff ( the young girls) working there deserve a special mention for their wonderful service. The rooms were excellently kept. The food was freshly made and homely.One thing as an improvement I can suggest is including tv in the rooms. And increase the food variety, for that they can also recruit more staff. Because it's a great property to spend some peaceful time on.

We had an amazing stay at this bunglow. It has a very homely atmosphere. Rooms were clean. Lawn and garden adds to the beauty of the place. Good breakfast served with a personal touch.

The bhowmick bungalow in tezpur is located in peaceful area. The bungalow is very well decorated. The landlord is very affable person. But a small hitch is that th rooms are small and it is difficult for tall person to move in the staires and they don't provide meal not even at extra cost.

Love the ambience, hospitality. Stay was wonderful in every aspect utterly happy that I chose this abode 👍👌

Pros- 1. Awesome architecture. Classic assam type bungalow in a very big area 2. Located right in the heart of the town 3. The property is much better and more beautiful than how it looks in the photos 4. Lot of greenery, outdoor sitting options, adequate parking space in a serene and captivating atmosphere. Right in the heart of the city but you won't feel the hustle and bustle of the city. 5. The host is amazing. Nice elderly gentleman with huge knowledge of the history of the area. They also have a team of housekeeping staff always keeping the area clean and tidy. Easily one of the nicest amd warmest hosts i have come across in assam 6. This is easily the best homestay so far that i have stayed in the state ( and i have stayed in a lot including guwahati ) 7. Very big rooms. Hotels would charge a fortune for such rooms. Rooms are very clean so was the bathroom. More than adequate outdoor sitting options 8. Interior decoration is brilliant. Makes your stay amazing. 9. This would be an ideal place for all - solo travellers, families, groups highly recommended

It was a very short stay at the bhowmick guest house, and the host was extremely nice retired person. The house was clean and hygienic and i hope to visit them. Again.
