Good quote property on the back waters. The last 1km road to the property is very narrow (6ft wide) so do take into account for driving. Food served by onsite staff. Very courteous and helpful staff. You may enjoy the patio right on the river bank also which has a table and 4 chairs set up. Rooms are clean and tastefully done.

Good getaway for family, the place is very beautiful and scenic it is surrounded by water bodies. Must visit place for a stress free vacation.

Great view. Homely food. Bit in the interior, better to have your own transportation. But would definitely suggest this place.

Location is right at the bank of suvarna river and it is very beautiful. Staff is very courteous and supportive and you will get absolutely tasty homely food

overall stay was good , but I was disappointed with customer service of saffron stays. I tried reaching them on the day of chrck out as I wanted to extend my stay. But I didn't receive any response from the call also from Chatbot. Very disappointed with that. Other than that stay was tooo good a experience. Before the booking the service was different but once booked I received this issue. No complaints with the stay and the place and worker there. wonderfull 5/5

Location - Amazingly located with river all along and beaches nearby. Between nature and maintained property. Food - Loved the home cooked Mangalore style food. Had lunch and breakfast. Amenities - Can improve with time. Water pressure in washrooms were a concern for me but remaining was good and ample. Services - Decent services and very helpful staff.

Property location is super bad, very secluded and narrow road. Food is okay, there are no amenities, caretaker doesn’t care about hospitality. Will not tell you anything, which road to take etc. he is only worried about all the timings which property has set for you. For Women and Girl gang strict no. Room is pathetic, you will just feel heat, heat and heat by 24hrs.

They denied the entry. The caretaker was drunk and asked us to come in the morning.

The stay was very good. They were very hospitable but the location was a little secluded. We had travel 20 mins by vehicle inside the property to reach our homestay. We stayed there for one night, the room was very neat and clean and had the vintage vibes. The food was very delicious but we had to pay separately which was a bit costly. Overall the experience was average and definitely not worth the price.

Location access is difficult. Even with own car, one needs to travel 2 kms inside coconut orchid. This 2km road can fit only one vehicle at a time. Though there won't be any opposite vehicles if you are lucky. Second thing, 1st floor rooms are accessible by spiral staircases only. So talk to them before you book since they won't give you refund or change to ground floor since all rooms are different. Any switching rooms means/upgrade comes to 3 to 4k extra than what you've paid for. Stay & food: stay is good. Food is good. They've small kitchen and local food made by care takers is very good.

Excellent food. Calm and quiet place. However, not worth the price as 1. Bathroom lacks a window. It has a curtain only with an opening onto the car park making it just not comfortable. 2. Could hear people staying in the room above walking around. 3. No fan in the outdoor seating area in front of the area. Basic requirement that's lacking for the hot weather in udupi. Price point of 12k per night given the above issues is not justified.

Location is excellent, well maintained coconut lagoon, at the bank of river. Calm & relaxing location. Villas are not up to mark in comparison with cost charged. Old structure, not maintained well. Lizards everywhere, paint piled off. Could be maintained better. No activities available at the property which is bit boring. Food is good, home cooked. Team is friendly and helpful. Backwater ride is excellent.
