Hotel Ellora is a great place to stay in Tawang. Here's why: 1. GREAT LOCATION: The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Everything you might need is at walking distance - Restaurant, ATM, Tours & Travels Operators, Mobile Shop, General store, Medical Clinic and even Bus Stand. 2. BUDGET FRIENDLY: The rooms are cozy, clean and well equipped with water geyzer, TV, almirah and bed-side table. Yet, the room charges are very very reasonable. 3. PEACEFUL: There is absolute peace and order in the premises. The owner and the staff ensures that guests are comfortable in all ways. 4. WONDERFUL OWNER: The owner is a very nice and friendly person. He is always available for any assistance. As such, I strongly recommend Hotel Ellora to anyone (especially budget travellers) visiting Tawang.

Good hotel. Close to the market. Nice owner. Good hot water bath. Nice 3 big blankets. Good value for the money. Only problem was with the door bolt inside. Very difficult to lock.

The hotel reception was friendly but the infrastructure was not great. If looking for budget travelling can consider.

The geyser doesn't work properly. Being a cold place they should also provide a heater too. The foods were nice and the owners were sweet.
