Savoy houseboats felt like a floating luxury hotel with a homely touch. The interiors were royal, the service was impeccable, and the location, just wow! i’d choose this over any regular hotel in srinagar any day.

Waking up to the peaceful sound of water and snow-capped mountains was surreal. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly kind, and the shikara ride arranged by them was the cherry on top. A truly magical srinagar experience.

Easily the best houseboat experience in Dal Lake. Immaculate interiors, excellent air conditioning, and the food—absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to return.

Our stay was scheduled from 02nd to 05th april 2023. Due to some emergency at home, we had to cancel our stay in srinagar and take the early flight back home on 02 nd morning. Informed mm t representative at around 10 pm on 01st april and the houseboat owner was not responding to his call. We tried again on 02 nd april morning from delhi airport, but the owner was still un-reachable. It's true that the booking condition clearly said that after 31st march no cancellation will be entertained. But it's obvious that during this peak tourist season the room must not have stayed vacant for 03 days. The owner could have easily entertained part reimbursement under such unforeseen situation. However, he choose to stick to the clause and refused any refund. Beyond commercial clauses we sometimes have to be human too and appreciate people's pain. I was not asking full refund anyway.

The hotel authorities are very rude and arrogant, on very first morning, hotel authorities were fighting very loudly with one of their staff member which disturbed our morning. After about half hour at around 8 am, one of hotel authority forcibly entered into our room and insisted to use the transport provided by them instead of our own managed transport, they were so rudely behaving and tried to force their will on us, somehow we managed to deny their proposal but this disturbed our whole of the day. They even delayde our breakfast and also our shikara due to which our vehicle has to wait for one hour. When we came back in the hotel in the evening, onr of the representative Mr. Gopa Karnai,Nature Travel was waiting for us and he had already checked us out of the hotel and proposed to shift in alternate hotel. We had no other option but to get shifted in the next hotel o/wise our whole trip would have been ruined. We shifted even if alternate hotel was not equally good,worst experience

An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Our Kashmir experience was so much better just because of the hospitality on the houseboat. Just be careful to ask for the price of everything before you say yes. Otherwise, the staff is good, very helpful, always willing to give extra service. Everything was just lovely.

Very nice place in the center of Dal lake. But it was an annoyance to move in and out of the houseboat though. You can reach the houseboat only by Shikaras. A good option for one day, not for more than that. Sometimes food was not available and sometimes transportation was not available.

Room very small and very old.Not at all clean and food also not good.

Room we ordered was already booked and guide man took us to different house boat. They moved us the next day to correct house boat. Staff was friendly. Do not recommend staying here.
