Houseboat New Raisine

The boat is on ghat no 17. Very far off from the busy area of dal lake. You will have to pay 100 rs for every up and down with shikara. The beds have electric heating system which is great but otherwise the boat is very cold.

Location was different from that what shown google locations. Average beautiful from out and inside so not according to price paid for the stay. Water inverter facilities were good inside. And good behavior of owner and houseboat staff

This is my first experience in houseboat in dal lake and it's awesome in new raisine houseboat, mr ashraf houseboat owner and host hospitality is great, food is great mr ashraf arranged all sightseen local n and nearby locations mr shahid is our tour operator has good knowledge of kashmir, we landed in srinagar on 7th june 2023, after that ashraf bhai arranged cab. From ghat no. 17 we availed shikara services by ashraf bhai for all three days, ashraf bhai arranged shikara ride for us. It is a home away from home

The Experience was amazing. Mr Ashraf the owner was so helpful and with good sense of humor, always ready to help. the Houseboat as a whole was clean, even the food was tasty 😋 I will recommend everyone to go with New Raisine. not to mention we booked it for one night but we stayed all our stay 6 days in the Houseboat.

We had a short transit through srinagar and decided to stay in a houseboat. The owners were so nice, that they waited for us to get back and didn't have any problems. The shikaras were asked to wait for us to return. The house boat is well kept, bed rooms spacious and with good bathrooms. They served us a simple but tasty breakfast. As the owners themselves hosted us, it was a very nice experience.

Nice stay, i stayed in h b gemini houseboat, instead of new raisine.

It was a nice stay but the problem faced is that you need shikara all the time you travel to houseboat which is not mentioned in the description of the hotel.
