friends & family is very basic home stay with no frills attached room was clean. bathroom was clean but dated needs renovation. there was no shower facility, one has to take bath from bucket. now a days shower is a basic necessity. when i arrived no one was present so i called the host. he said had not informed him of my booking so that’s your fault. there was no caretaker available so i had to take the luggage to my room. the host said caretaker is available only in the morning i think as per government regulations 24/7 caretaker is a must for home stays. you need to clarify & take up the matter with the host. no breakfast facility available even on chargeable basis. i think as per goi rules even this is compulsory ( may be on chargeable basis. last august i stayed in pahuna haveli. it was awesome property. the host mrs sangeeta was very courteous & very helpful. room was excellent with excellent breakfast served. next time i will stay in pahuna haveli. considering the above 👆 state of facilities i didn’t take any pictures

Perfect place to stay and good value for money. Singhvi family was a good host, greeted well . Situated on a very prime location hence travelling and sight seeing is convenient. Rooms are well maintained.

Fantastic homestay with super friendly hosts !!

familyWe recently stayed at Friends and Family Homestay during our holiday in Udaipur. The hosts, Mr. Gaurav and his parents made us feel at home and were extremely friendly and helpful. Their home was lovely with a well maintained garden. Our room was spacious and furnished with all amenities including wardrobes and AC. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained. At a nominal additional fee, we could also use the kitchen which was extremely convenient to cook. The Homestay is also conveniently located in the heart of Udaipur city and all the main attractions are quite nearby as well. Overall, our Homestay experience felt like being in a home away from home. I would strongly recommend Friends and Family Homestay for an immensely comfortable vacation retreat for all.
