I booked The Kalyan Villa | Heritage Stay with Patio | Udaipur through MakeMyTrip based on its great reviews, and the experience fully lived up to expectations. Finding the property was a little tricky on Google Maps, but the owner personally guided us with clear local landmarks, which made it easy to reach. We were greeted with a warm welcome on arrival. The property is neat, clean, and spacious, offering a genuine heritage-style ambiance with a comfortable stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful, personally guiding us about local sightseeing spots and travel routes. We also tried the home-cooked food, which was delicious and freshly prepared by the owner herself. Most of the popular attractions in Udaipur are within walking distance, which makes this stay even more convenient. Overall, a wonderful, homely stay with great hospitality — highly recommended for families and travelers who prefer comfort, cleanliness, and personal touch. 🌸

We stayed in a deluxe double bed room for 3 nights and i must say the services they provide, the atom sphere, the peace this location had it was commendable.

Very Disappointed – Misleading & Dishonest I booked this hotel because it clearly mentioned car parking available. When I reached, there was no car parking at all. On top of that, the property was not as promised. I contacted the hotel owner, and the owner himself agreed to refund the money. But later, they refused to pay back. This is completely unprofessional, misleading, and dishonest behavior. I strongly advise others to stay away from this property. and once you pay, they don’t care about customer satisfaction. Worst experience!

We stayed at the villa for 2 days and 1 night. The stay was comfortable and peaceful. The staff and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The place had a chill vibe. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, well kept.

The bedsheets were not clean. no water was asked by the host. no toiletries are available. yet no complaints about the host he was old but he could hire someone to attend guests.

Wonderful and owner is very helpful and giving yu home vibes its a very safe stay for girls but don’t book sharing room as because its a same main gate for quartable room and private room as well although i’m the luckiest one coz nobody booked

As someone who travels quite frequently, i really like homestays like kalyan villa simply because how peaceful and refreshing they can be, despite being in the middle of the city and quite close to any nearby tourist attraction. During my whole stay, i didn’t face a single issue. And while the property can introduce some more modern amenities or facilities, its current simple yet sufficient should be more than enough for travellers looking for a peaceful stay in udaipur. Last but not least, thank you to ghanshyam uncle as well for taking care of everything.

Room and villa is perfectly cleaned. Home food is really delicious like home and area is very cool and calm. City palace is just 10 mins walk from here. Our host mr. Ghanshyam is very cooperative. It’s a great place to stay.

our family stay at the kalyan villa | heritage stay was simply awesome. we loved the stay / property as well as the heart warming hospitality of the owners who personally took care our ours like a guest visiting their home. we loved the stay. ❤️ kindly note: the property is in the old city of udaipur there might be a parking issue for the 4 wheeler but worry not the owners help in safe parking. the property is located in the city centre from where the city palace is just 900m away.

The property is heritage. Located in a quiet corner of the city. The deluxe double bedroom was nicely maintained. Linen etc. Were clean. Bathroom was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities. Only had tea over there as on our visit date dinner wasn't available at the homestay. Price @rs. 40/cup for tea was a bit costly. Cctv is there. Only drawback is that there is nobody there at the reception most of the time because of which the service tends to be slow. But it's value for money homestay.

Good stay in a budget. All basic facilities are there. Host Mr. Ghanshyam ji is also cooperative. Overall satisfied with the price.

Absolutely perfect place to stay on a budget, but you get far more then you pay for, bed, linen, blankets are super clean, toilets are spic and span. And it's very close to all the major attractions.

Beautiful stay, although it was a short stay, but i would really like to come with my whole family and just relax and enjoy the ambience out here. Just liked the vibe
