The Houseboat was clean and well maintained, but we went on a day when it was raining. Both the driver (Anand) and the cook (Abhilash) took care of us extremely well in spite of the rains. The stay started with a nice ride along the river, canal and lake. We docked in another canal for lunch, and returned back after that. On the way back we stopped back to get some fresh sea catch for dinner. We couldn't get out to do any more shopping at the lake because of the rain, but were told that it was part of the schedule. We docked back at around 5.30 at the shore and stayed docked till morning. A special mention about Abhilash for providing us some tasty authentic Kerala food.
