We had very terrible experience on boarding time is 12 pm they called us in morning and said our boarding will start at 12.30 thats ok when we reach at destination there was no boat and we called them 2-3 times they said to wait in parking area and started our boarding at 2pm after that food we already said them that one person doesn’t eat fish & chicken so we wanted egg curry for one person but they didn’t provide and gave 1 omelet how can a person fulfill his tummy by just one omelet too Terrible experience

I have booked two rooms. We had checked in around 1.30 pm on 27 October, 2025. Up to 9.00 pm, we had good experience however in dinner, the food was limited and gets over. There is no service person for complaint for food. Further AC was not working in night. Also no towel and hot water coming in morning. One of service person was talking very angrily with my family. Common living area offered to one couple for candle light dinner. So overall experience was very poor and horrible. Not recommended.

"Our stay on the Best Kerala houseboat was truly unforgettable! The location was breathtaking, cruising through serene backwaters surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was warm and hospitable, making us feel at home. The traditional Kerala meals served onboard were fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. Facilities were excellent and everything was organized perfectly, making the whole trip smooth and relaxing. A must-try experience for anyone visiting Kerala!"

Dirty room, stained bed, stinky bathroom, stained floor, bad working AC, 800 extra cash demanded for a 4 hrs of extra AC. Loud music, ear shattering sound, decent food but too spicy, full of garlic, watered down curds. Short board ride, crew demanded a 5 star review in front of them! One silver lining, the service tried to be helpful, by boiling and giving us milk in the night.

The property administrator threatened me to delete the video and more over there there are other travellers as well who where offended because of the misbehaviour which is taking place in this boat house. This is the worst experience i had in my life that to on my birthday. I will not tolerate even to file a law complaint on this concern as traveller are treated in a disrespectful manner on the observation of all the travellers. I would really take this legal as i am feeling this is an unsecured tourist system along with a female manager who is literally arrogant and misbehaving to their own client without rectifying the concern. This is going to impact the business of make my trip and other travel industry as well. Kindly know this property do not respect the travellers at the same time it is dirty and people who serve are literally drunk and will start threatening you with no option as you are out of town. Most important is that the employee took the plate of meal before even you could eat it i don’t even know if there is humanity in this boat house i mentioned i’m a heart patient i have to eat but my plate with meal was already away at 9 clock mentioning no one can eat after that. Trust me guys they will treat you as if you are in jail not as a tourist. If you really willingly take this experience please do as finally it’s a disgusting experience in my life

familyRooms are good but the service level needs to improve. Hygiene levels are also not properly maintained. We had to stay without power & ac for almost 2-3 hours due to their mismanagement of fuel even after booking full-time ac room. Approaching road is not properly maintained, be careful while bringing your trolley bags.
