there was a clear cut mismatch between the timing shown websit and the rules and regulations of the Kerala Houseboat authorities. the check in time was 12.00 pm of 23/08/2025 whereas the authorities let us avail the service only at 6 pm showing that was the actual timing of our check in. though the other services was good this thing makes the under doubt as there's a clear mismatch between the two statements

Extremely Bad Experience, I will never book any hotel and flight . Photos were totally different from the original. I paid approx but it was a total waste of money.

It was worst, first of all it was very clear that make my trip cheated us and for that we will see you at the end of my travelling. We were told by the house boat manager that we are third party maam, the amenities you are looking for was not inform to us. Like fruit basket not given, mirror toiletries was like 5 rupees stuff no shampoo, no hand sanitizer, no laundry service and many more. But my complain is how you change the boat last minute as initially it was cosy boats and in last minutes boat without name. We call for help during check in which was terrible ms riya called and than someone come to receive us. This is not for we booked through make my trip that entire trip is spoiled and we need to keep calling for help really it was very disappointing. We ll make complain legally for sure at the end of my trip shame on make my trip better change your name spoil my trip

I really liked the helpers in our boat. Everyone was so hardworking and helpful. Their positive attitude and hard work was impressive. Send this again.

The ambiance was serene and inviting, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cleanliness of the rooms was exemplary. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the efforts made to maintain a pristine environment throughout my stay. The staff at kerala houseboat were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their professionalism and dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction were commendable. From check-in to check-out, i felt well taken care of and valued as a guest. The food served is amazing and it has a great hospitality

Only single towel and soap provided. No toilet paper no tissue paper no wifi. Just average saw other boats they look more good and happy travellers

Stay at your boat was enjoyable and excellent. Staff also very good and we got good service from them. Food quality was also good and healthy. Only lagging behind is variety of food.

Wash rooms were not properly maintained. Not Worth for the money spent

Very poor and dirty location not suitable for family stay. Boat parking for stay in remote area which is not suitable for family.

When we are travelling as couple, we obviously had booked a single room. On the morning before boarding, when we called to confirm with the booking, we got a shock from Kerala Houseboats person that we have to share room the others in a 3 bed room houseboat. Common, how can one share a boat the a totally unknown persons, and what if they are some notorious fellows like the 1 we saw in our neighbor boat (pole dancing in half naked and shouting/staring at us). If you want to keep it more expensive keep it, but why on earth do you want us to share when we have booked for single room. After all this, you give us some unused boat, Which had ants and bed bugs all over, dust all over, no TV, luckily for us the staff were very nice and friendly, and food was awesome. All in all, though v war irritated initially because of the boat condition and the way they handled, the stay and journey was nice.

Once in a lifetime experience, being on a boat and not on a cruise ship. Earthy feel of rural Kerala and its beauty. Forget about luxurious and antiseptically clean ship and Kerala hospitality and humility of joy, the captain, driver, chef and the handyman, all rolled into one. Simple Kerala food served on the deck enhances the experience. Linen and cleanliness need improvement. Boarding area is a little shabby. Absence of a trained guide and language problem are felt.
