Sumanraj Hotel - 500Mtrs from Venna Lake

Property location is good. Rooms were okay. Could've been cleaner. Food quality was good. Room service was really bad. Rest of the amenities like spa, childrens play area were unusable. They should have option for electric kettles and tea coffee sachets in the room itself.

Locationwise, the best. Staff very helpful. Room size, cleanliness, amenities : good. Room service, very good. Enjoyed.

The staff was local boys who doesn't know how to communicate properly. Foot mats was kept on bed while cleaning the rooms. Wifi was not available. Construction work was going on behind our rooms due to which there was lots of disturbance.

Worst hotel. Bathroom has huge plastic bag pasted on ceiling. Service is pathetic. Main door latch does not even lock.

Great value for money. Affordable price, good location, spacious rooms, big balcony with zoola, clean washrooms, good seevice and good food. Hotel sumanraj is great combination of so many good things. Especially staff is so friendly and kind towards our pet. I recommend hotel sumanraj for all like minded tourists.

No buffet for lunch & dinner. Same breakfast menu. No complimentary welcome kit(snacks. Id compulsory for kids also. No advance info about it.

Stay and location both were very good. Spa and other facilities were not available. And i booked for 1st floor but they gave me 2nd floor which is small room compare to 1st floor.

Room required maintainance. Staff was polite but service was slow and seems that the staff was very new. In 3 days of stay no change of sheets and no room cleaning

1) i booked the room with full payment and when i reached the hotel, it was given to other family and they have to vacate them and clean it, have to wait for almost 60 mins 2)room quality: very old rooms and not maintained 3) breakfast: needs improvement

Hotel location is very since everything is nearby. Hotel ambience is very nice and all the staff is courteous

No full day hot water and no heaters provision as there climate is very cold and hit water is must. Play area and swimming pool is not maintained drainage water leakage at entry

Below are the review comments, i stayed in room 102 1) door lock was corrupted 2) rooms were smelling like hell 3) room freshner was not served although requested 4) bad tea taste 5) toilet was not clean 6) jet spray was broken 7) bedsheet, pillow covers were looking clean but they were smelly. 8) cupboard was smelling like it contained farm or agriculture pesticides. Totally disappointed with the room and service. Would not recommend it.

the location is very good and walking distance from venna lake. This is specially useful when there is rush in Mahabaleshwar. Rooms are ok at best but food is very good.

Location is good with vicinity to shopping and restaurants. The bar restaurant in-house is decent, room cleanliness is good, family friendly, the reception staff is polite and helpful. . Hotel can improve by having an in-house house vehicle for guests for emergency pickup and drops and a gymnasium
