Initially we were a bit disappointed as there was nobody to assist us to lift our heavy luggage to the first floor.For one night stay the room was ok,but the most alarming part was that we did not get mineral water at the lodge, normal drinking water was provided.Except these two facts the stay was satisfactory.

The hotel is very old however the staffs behaviour is good,location is fine.But they should upgrade their service as i think this is not a value for money hotel.I pay more than 2k for a executive room however I dont feel in staying at that room is that it is worth it.So I recommend they should upgrade their rooms their washroom and basic aminities .

Very ugly experience with Rains in Hotel, Solapara road, Paltanbazar, Guwahati

Very poor amenities and services, Disappointing food which served in room and charged to high comparison to other hotels. I selected executive room but whole night bitten by mosquitoes even not slept properly. My breakfast was included with my tariff but there was no morning buffet. They served on request which was very poor quality.

Unpleasant Stay

The first impression of the room was poor. The walls were painted dark green & did not give off a welcoming air. Once we settled down & tried to sleep, we were woken up by large banging sounds. Apparently, there was a party in the hotel and the staff were clearing up the furniture etc till 2 in the morning. There were also voltage/power fluctuations in the room & the AC and the fan kept switching off throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. When I complained about this at the reception the next morning & requested an extended check out since our flight was late evening, I was denied, citing fully booked rooms. The rooms were clearly available as I checked online afterwards. Overall, a very poor experience.
