Desert Heaven Camp is a beautiful oasis on the edge of Thar in Sam. Beyond the naturally occurring beauty of the dunes, the clear skies and the glam tents, The selling point of this resort is absolutely the range of services they provide: you have the opportunity to experience star gazing and dinner on the dunes which was absolutely breathtaking. Every day the resort organises sunrise dessert safari and sunset camel rides (which became highlights of our trip). Every evening there is a cultural show which is interactive and beautiful. Along with showcasing their art, the artists also provide context on the different instruments they play ❤️ Beside quality of food and services it is worth mentioning that the resort staff, desk managers, drivers and cleaners are extremely responsive, kind and polite. On the less nice side: the resort is fairly new and there are some construction and administrative kinks that still need to be resolved ( tent doors etc). But I still recommend this place to any one who wants to unwind and immerse themselves in the culture of Jaisalmer
