Amazing hospitality and serene experience i had on my stay with kanak jaisalmer

Had an wonderful experience staying here. The staff, the food everything was in point. Go for this place without a second thought

We stayed at Kanak Jaisalmer on 22-Dec-2021 for one night. Some of the positive side of this property: • Kanak is at a Great location- secluded place away from the crowd • The property is well maintained and all the facilities are available in tent houses room heater etc. • Camel Ride and Dune Bashing is included in the booking. Camel ride experience was good However our overall stay was below average because of the reasons below: • The property is located couple of kilometres away from road. We tried to call the staff 2 hours before reaching the resort but no one answered the phone. Somehow we were able to locate the property using couple of sign boards. • Within this property we were on our own. We managed reach to place where last few camels were starting for ride and no assistance from hotel staff • Dinner and evening snacks were included in the booking but somehow staff behaviour was to ignore the guests and not to server them. We didn’t ask for anything special but what was there in the menu. still we had to go and request to serve us so many time. There was no other options outside the resort and my kid could not have snacks because of poor service. Finally we stopped asking for service eg. snacks, dinner etc. We booked this property as it has only 10 tent houses and we wanted to avoid the crowd during year end. However we found that it was no different than the properties having 50 tents but serving their customers better. There was absolutely zero hospitality at this property.

Stayed at kanak for one night- on my anniversary date. Must say that the whole set up is pretty luxurious. I asked them to organize room decor and private dinner. They forgot to do the decor but did really well with the dinner set up which more than made up for the miss. Fyi. The tarrif includes camel safari, high tea at dunes, evening snacks with folk performance, dinner, breakfast and dune bashing on thar. That makes it god value for money in my opinion. My wife and i particularly liked the folk music and desert activities. Food was good too! overall a great experience, would highly recommend!ps- they made a discount on final. Bill for forgetting the room decor which was a nice gesture i thought.
