Desert Springs Resort - Sam Sand Dunes Jaisalmer

The tents were too dull and dusted from inside. No sanitry. No flush working. Wasted Gone for the experience for dunes. Too wasted. Paid for morning safari ..people asked me for more 1000 for taking and dropping in tents.. bad experience .. no camels were provided we were 3 people and there waa 2 camels and asked me in the morning sorry for 2 people only i paid for 3 people.. too bad experience

Pathetic place! Worst Food! Hopeless amenities! I booked two nights stay with Desert Springs Resort located in Sam. I drove all the way from Pune to Jaisalmer and even took my aging parents with me with a hope of having a vacation to remember. I made this booking solely on the basis of contents they displayed on their website - clean and luxurious tents, star gazing, spa, Rajasthani cuisine, Folk dance, Desert Safari etc This place works only for 6 months in a year and is totally neglected for the balance 6 months (off season). The tents are filthy from outside, the white goods like Refrigerator and Aircon do not work. They serve the SAME TASTELESS FOOD EVERY DAY in breakfast and dinner. THEY DONT EVEN CHANGE THE MENU. Worst - they DO NOT even serve LUNCH at all. It seems no one stays there for more than a day so no one notices this non-sense. They have one group of artists who performs the same act everyday with the same story telling showcasing how one of the ailing dancer continues to perform despite her health issue. I am sorry but if you tell the same story everyday it does sound like its an act to attract tips from the customers. They claim their vehicles can take customers to farther sand dunes where their camel carts dont. The vehicle safari is additional INR 2.5K but its the worst. It takes you to an extremely crowded and dirty sand dune filled with litter. I strongly suggest that people aiming to visit Jaisalmer entirely avoid this place

Wonderful resort. Clean. The evening are very good with Mr Sunil Parihar and party. Food is good. But repetitive. Staff polite.

It was wonderful l stay at the desert springs resort, we stayed in delux tents and it has ample space with good and clean washroom. We stayed for 2 days enjoyed evening shows specifically performance of sunil parmaar. Ankit the general manager was awesome in service he served and took care of us throughout our stay. Overall stay was awesome.

It was a nice stay and cultural program was also good.

The very ambience of the resort is excellent, very close to sand dunes. Tents are well equipped for summer and cold winters. Hospitality and food are also wonderful.

Non cooperative staff. 1 booked for 2 nights but due to some issue i did check out on the first night. But they dont understand my problem and charge me thee m full

Property is very nice and clean. Good staff, food provided is very tasty clean and good quality.

Worst experience, i will not recommend visit this place, in name rajasthan folk they playing western song, do not visit this place

The profile says it is close to seam sand dunes but the property is actually very far off from seam and is even before kani village. Although the tents are ok but the real feel pf the desert camping is not that great. The nearby dunes are l overly and untouched which is a pro. The evening function eventually turned out to be a private party for the people know to the performers and without giving a damn about other guests. The food quality is great and the prices considering the resource scarcity is very well placed.

Nothing is good in this resort except the cultural programme. The food quality is so bad. In the name of camel safari they just make a mockery! there are better options available if you want to explore the desert!

Some highlights - food was good the dogs entered in the tent twice in the night location is good nebhours were playing loud music entire night. Not sure if i can blame property for that. Folk dance and other arrangements were good
