We had a truly wonderful stay at Misty Mountain. The location is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, incredibly peaceful, and offering just the right amount of privacy for a relaxing retreat. A special shoutout to Thapan, the caretaker, whose cooking was nothing short of amazing. Every meal was delicious and made with so much care — easily one of the highlights of our trip! Ganesh, the host, was warm, welcoming, and incredibly flexible. He made everything smooth and stress-free, from check-in to check-out. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests having a great experience. This place is a 100% recommendation for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time with great food and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My stay at Happy Valley was amazing! The property is in a quiet and scenic location, perfect for unwinding. The rooms were comfortable, neat, and had a cozy feel. The caretaker was very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious—simple, fresh, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed staying here, it was perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The property is beautiful and maintained well. They also provide home-cooked meals which made my stay more pleasant. The only downside is that it's located around 12km from Ooty but that makes sense if you're looking for a spot surrounded by nature.
