Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort

We had a wonderful 5-day, 4-night family stay at Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort, Alleppey, in a Deluxe Room with a Bay View. The resort is in a peaceful location surrounded by lush greenery and calm backwaters, offering a perfect escape from city life. The traditional Kerala-style cottages, well-maintained property, and stunning sunrise and sunset views added to the charm. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a relaxing balcony facing the water. The hospitality was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff ensuring a smooth experience, including arranging boat rides and sightseeing. The restaurant served delicious Kerala cuisine, especially fresh seafood, with a good variety of options for breakfast, including continental dishes. Activities were a highlight, with free pedal boating, backwater boating, kayaking, and Kashmir Shikkara boating. While the WiFi was weak in our room, it worked better in common areas. The food options, though excellent for Kerala cuisine, could have had more North Indian and international dishes. Evenings had some mosquitoes due to the backwater setting, but the resort provided repellents. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we highly recommend this resort for a peaceful getaway with great views, authentic Kerala hospitality, and exciting water activities. We would love to visit again!

The property is good although the road towards the property is not so good. Parking availability at the shore (which is near the resort) is limited and unguarded. The staffs are excellent. They helped pacify our baby and took care of him when we're having dinner without even asking for it. The sunset boat trip was also a nice experience. Food served was decent. The place offers a good stay, some water activities, good food, ayurvedic treatment etc. A 2 day stay is recommended to have full experience.

Heaven always. Had stayed here 15 yrs back and when going g to allepey again i did not hesitate even for a minute before booking it again. And same beautiful experience. Beautiful view of backwater from every room. Private backwaters to boat around. Clean rooms and great service. Food cooked to your taste and a courtesy call every morning checking your requirements and comfort. If you are going for ayurveda you must confirm with them when their treatment camp is there. A lovely experience in all.

This was our last destination for kerela tour and it was the best. I feel if i had not booked kondailip i would have definitely missed out on something special and extravagant. We just loved this place in terms of everything. Resort, food, people, staff, activities, serene, nature everything. If i could i would give more then 100 start rating. Fish and chips and pomfret fry i can never ever forget. Keep it up.

A very tranquil resort, set at a distance away from the city life. Very friendly and helpful staff. A unique touch of traditional kerala architecture. The food quality too is up to the mark. Enjoyed the backwaters' boat rides. Had a complimentary ride on pedal boat as well, which we all enjoyed. Would highly recommend this place! worth for money)

Excellent location, staff and food. Stayed for a couple of days and my daughter and i loved the property which was right in the mangrove island. Only problem is inadequate sound dampening between rooms. One can clear make out what your neighbours are talking. At times, it was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the place is super nice

It was very good journey and the place is very calm and clean. We can enjoy the beauty of backwater. They are providing boating through the backwater. Also includes other activities like fishing, games etc. Food was tasty but bit expensive. Overall was good and we enjoyed lots of.

the ambience was perfect and due to huge open area it is paradise for kids . only biggest issue is the breakfast spread is very limited and not upto mark which is not expected from a luxurious resort

We stayed at kondai lip for a day during the republic day weekend. The resort is a hidden gem with great value for money. The staff are very courteous. They also arrange an hour long boat ride and you can opt for other activities like fishing, kayaking etc.

The stay was excellent, tha ambiance and their service was good. Definitely a place to enjoy the trip.

Stay at the resort was very peaceful. Staff hospitality is top notch. Food was great. From car parking, you will be taken via speed boat to enter the resort, which is a great experience. Surely will visit again.
