Southern Panorama Houseboats

The houseboat was comfortable. The room felt a little small for 2 adults and 2 kids. Of course, they have provided an extra mattress. The food was really tasty. The negative point of the whole tour is they didn't take us to the island where they promised to have a night halt. Overall a pleasant stay. Kids enjoyed.

I had the pleasure of spending a day aboard the Southern Panorama Cruise, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped on board, Sinoj and other staff members went above and beyond to ensure every moment of the journey was seamless and enjoyable. The food was delicious and had a wide selection. In the evening, we had a small boat tour of the village, which was an incredible experience. We could purchase any fish from the designated shop, and the staff would cook it for us. We had candle-light dinner that evening, and it was a wonderful experience. The employees behaved well and were really nice. It was a pleasant experience all around.

The stay was just ok. The service provided by the boathouse caretaker . He was completely behind all the families to use the boat ride service, shop prawn/crab from fish market and take spa sessions. The moment many guests refused to take all those service because the charges were too high, his attitude of service changed. There was a music system on the deck but he was reluctant to put on the music stating the wifi is not working. He insisted to blow off the candles immediately after the dinner where few guests along with me were still on the dining floor nad wanted to spend some more time together. The next day morning, when I asked an additional omlette for my daughter, he said eggs were not there any more as they had only 22 eggs for all the guests. I think when I paid such huge amount and booked two rooms, I do not expect atleast such kind of service. There was a small mishappening in the boathouse where one of the small kid from one of the guest family accidentally got his head hurt inside their room because of the wound, had been struggling to find the First Aid Box. Luckily the Boat Manager came rushed the kid and his father to the nearest hospital. The boat house should be properly euipped with complete set of first aid kit box and should be easily accessable during emergencies. However, the boathouse was clean and food was good. The overall stay experience was not that great.

Clean and comfortable rooms with good bathrooms as well. Good food and really helpful and approachable staff. A good value for money package and a wonderful experience overall.

Service were good room is very small

the boat house room was compact but sufficient, and has a common lobby and dining hall on top. It's hot even during september and AC is available only in which is clarified before boarding. complimentary food provided 3 times was quite good. the canal boat ride suggested by them was expensive and not good. we were not well informed to take decision about that. we can go for speed boat ride instead.

We recently stayed in a beautiful boathouse with our kids, and it was very good experience from start to finish. The rooms were hygienic—clean, fresh, and well maintained. The highlight was the delicious local food served onboard. Every meal was a treat, bursting with authentic flavors and prepared with care. we appreciated the balance of spice and comfort. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, ensuring we had everything we needed. It felt less like a service and more like being hosted by friends. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with great food and heartfelt hospitality.

We visited Allepy for the first time and the house boat which was provided to us was worth it. The house boat was maintained nicely and the support staff was very good. The candle night dinner was awesome with lot of food varieties available for vegetarians.

We had nice experience with southern panorama house boat ⛴️ .Staff were too good and they have helped us throughout the journey. They have also helped to do the activities like boating through canals and the speed boat as well. The food they have provided was fresh and good. Also, there was a good speaker in the boat to enjoy the music so we are enjoyed the journey and even they have prepared the food as per our choice ,So overall I would say to say pleasant journey. However, there could be some improvement in the inside the boat like we were facing some dust issues, not because of the cleaning, but from wooden part of the boat it was dusting to bed

Excellent hospitality provided and support staffs were very kind and helping. They explained everything in detail and made special food arrangements for my 1 year old baby. Its not that luxurious, but definitely an above average experience for the price they quoted.

Facilities and rooms are good but the food taste is not good so poor taste amd they charged extra amt for fish… need to improve food taste

What truly stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to making guests feel special.. It wasn’t just a stay – it was a heartwarming experience that will remain in our memories forever. The food was another highlight – freshly prepared delicacies, served with love. Every meal felt homely... The staff were attentive, making sure we felt at home throughout the journey. Candle light dinner arranged was awesome.. If you’re visiting Kerala and want to experience the beauty of Alappuzha’s backwaters, Southern Panorama Houseboats is an absolute must! Highly recommended for couples and families.

The experience was boring, will not recommend this as you have to stay on boat only and they will not allow to switch on the AC before 9 pm, the boat will keep on roaming on the lake and in the evening they will park it. instead of Boat Book a Hotel and opt for boating in lake.

I happy with southern panarama bhoat house . my family also enjoy like enithing. Even all the menu was very nice.
