My friend and I visited The Rain on 29th February. The resort is exceptionally neat and the property is situated at a gorgeous location facing The backwaters. The infinity pool is a real attraction and the kids loved it. Note that the pool is temperature controlled which is a great thing. The Rooms are great as well. We were offered kayaking as well as a music night as complementary. Candlelight dinner is available on request too. Now to the negatives. There was a massive insect invasion at night in the room as well as the pool area. The breakfast, though sufficient, was not in par with the level of the property. The spread could have been much better. The restaurant area is too cramped as well. Now The most annoying part my two year old daughter and my friend's 4 year old daughter were charged for kids buffet. Upon enquiry, we were informed that this is john's policy. Having travelled far and wide (nationally as well as internationally), a two year old is never charged for a buffet. If that's The policy, I believe it is time for a policy revamp.

The place is located right at the banks of Vembanad Lake. It's a cute little property with the most amazing and sweet people. During our stay we felt pampered by their service. The chef is exceptionally amazing and takes care of your food preferences. The support staff is also very polite and helpful. It's a small boutique property with only 4 rooms. So expect a lot of space, peace and calm, but do not expect midnight snacking options in:).

Our family had a wonderful one-night stay at The Rain, Alleppey. The property is peaceful and overlooks the beautiful backwaters, and the infinity pool was a relaxing highlight. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was stunning, featuring authentic local Kerala cuisine. Mornings spent by the water made our stay truly memorable.

Stayed for 2 nights and just loved every second of it. They have got 4 rooms, all with same stunning views of the backwaters. It's a small property so the food menu is limited but whatever we tried turned out to be good. The staff and very kind and generous. You can literally sit by the pool and the backwaters. Perfect serene getaway.

We stayed at The Rain for 2 nights and had an absolutely blissful time. The villa is located perfectly, you feel as if you have the backwaters just to yourself. The service is excellent, they left no stone unturned to make our holiday perfect. Will definitely come back here if I travel to Kerela in the future.
