It was an excellent stay. We had a great time enjoying the weather and other sports like kayaking boat ride. People were so hospitable. Special thanks to Mr. Sawad abdul kareem (the chef) for taking care of our food preferences and curating an excellent food experience. Overall it was an awesome experience. Would love to go there again

Decent Stay with good View of Vembanad lake

A very friendly Staff and manager. they make you feel like home. Owner allowed to let us stay in room even after check out time,since my transportation was scheduled in eve. Rooms are very average, location of hotel is remote but hotel Staff helps in arranging local Auto. I would recommend the stay if you are not looking for luxury stay and just a good lake view with some water activity.

Excellent stay in Alappuzha. We had stayed at this hotel during our visit to Alappuzha this summer. Best part of this hotel is its location. It’s right on the bank of lake vembanad. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Food served here is very good. You can get to taste authentic Malabar cuisine full of Kadipatta. Try fish here it’s must. Very good stay option and worth the cost

Overpriced food items and very small bed. View from resort is nice

overpriced food and other food items you purchase at the resort. they charge you thrice the actual cost as the resort is in the outskirts and you have no other option, either you purchase their overpriced food items or remain empty stomach. For Rs. 150 of fish curry you have to pay Rs. 600 and the taste is horrible. the room beds are very very small. if you are 5'8" and above you will face problems in sleeping.the view from the resort is nice and the swimming pool is good. morning sunrise view from the resort is also good.

I was bit skeptic booking the stay after reading through a few negative reviews. But my experience was very pleasant, courtious staff and good food.. don't miss the sunrise over the lake with the back drop of busy fishermen on their canoes, the scenic view will give a fresh start to your day.. Also was a full moon day when I visited, the moon reflections over the water was gorgeous during the night..

We had a one day stay at vembanad village backwater resort. Will say it was one of the best experiences of my life. To the rooms to the exterior, the service, the food, the amenities everything was perfect. Location is a little on the outskirts but the hotel staff will arrange vehicle for you on demand for exploring the main allepey town. Also i would really appreciate some of the staff members there. Mr. Farooq, bibin, bijith, abay. It was my mother's birthday and they arranged everything so beautifully. It really was a memorable stay. Thanku to the whole team.

The moment I arrived, I was struck by the serene beauty of the lake and the lush green surroundings. The shikkara boating & Kayakking experience was truly unforgettable. The swimming pool was a great place to relax and unwind, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The pool was well-maintained and clean. The staff provided clear instructions and ensured our safety throughout the activity. One of the highlights of my stay was watching the sunrise over the lake. It was truly breathtaking, with the sky turning pink and orange as the sun slowly rose above the horizon. Overall, I highly recommend Vembanad Village to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway..!!

*disappointing stay: not worth the cost* i recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I had to do an early check out because if this. The reality is a far cry from the amenities promised. *poor room quality* the room itself was small and cramped, with outdated furniture and decor. *no value for money* considering the high price i paid for the room, i expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to deliver on even the most basic amenities. *would not recommend* overall, i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The combination of low-quality rooms, and high prices makes it a poor value for the cost.

familySheer disappointment -henceforth to think twice before booking thr make my trip for these type of locations-how come you are suggesting a location which is just 1 year old with no facilities meant for resort and they are in the process of implementing most of the minimum facilities in the resort-resort with backwaters only and insect menace after 6 pm and we need to close all the doors of the room to be safe from insect bite and also from food adulteration-even though booked for 2 days had a deep thought of vacating on the first day itself -to sum up a resort recommended by make my trip as a very interior backwater place with poor amenities and facilities which is for sure not coming under your recommendations-price also too high when compared to a very good stay at alleppey-almost 50%cheap total disappointment for our family and the resort occupancy also at very low level -out of 11 rooms only two have been booked how you have recommended this resort your people shd pay a visit to this resort to know the exact status food was ok and no recreation facilities except swimming pool

Rooms are full of insects, when asked, reply was it's lake side resort, so it will be like this. Location:- When we visited, swimming pool construction was ongoing due to which the complete area is full of workers and mud, don't understand why they accommodate guests when there is lot of disturbance in the area. So we could hardly come out for walk to see the surroundings. Also there were locals talking in groups due to which family doesn't feel comfortable to come out. Service:- there was a boat ride in the package which was scheduled for 8am in the morning. we reached on spot at 8am, but it felt like no staff in resort were awake, they made us wait for around 1 hour, after which boat driver arrived. We had lot of plans for the day, we got pissed off because of this lack of responsibility, we then cancelled the boat ride and asked for checkout. Also I could see that all guests were complaining about their lack of responsibility. Money:- We paid around But stay is only worth for 1500rs, not more than that with our experience staying in other resorts including staying at more premium location than this. Food:- Food was tasty, that is the only thing I see good in the resort.

Hi. We stayed at vembanad village backwater resort at alleppy. It is good and all facilities provided. Neat and clean. And the view from outside is superb. In the morning, the sunrise is beautiful and within seconds view is changing. We recorded all enjoyed a lot. Breakfast is delicious and tasty with kerala appam and idli. We booked the boat of resort for two hours, an amazing experience. From the we experienced the village atmosphere and life style of people, and saw so many boats, beautiful view. We returned with tons of happiness. 4
