Hotel New Vaishali

I'm planing to a trip Darjeeling with my family. I booked my room via MMT This hotel is to dirty and bad staff. Room is not clean and very dirty don't stay in this hotel.

Location of the hotel is good but the room is not good at all. The cost is too high in comparison to the rate. The size of the room is very small for two persons also. The bathroom was not so clean. The windows cannot be opened

Manager and service guys least bothered.. Complimentary breakfast not served through out stay. No soap shampoo provided. Floor broken. Heater overpriced. Linen dirty. No lift. The manager booked cab to Darjeeling and took 1200 commission for it. My license also I forgot to take back and they also did not bother to return. Manager was watching movie and kid on desk had no idea of booking stood for half an hour in cold for booking. Please do not book this property.

Hotel room fine airy location fantastic with a clear mall view. Facilities of the hotel a class of its own. Services very quick genuine. Activities of hotel employee to recommend Especially manager of the hotel whose hospitality outstanding. So we praise love the hotel& must try to visit time & again By .. Customer. Hotel is near to mahatma gandhi road. And all the restaurants are nearby. Hotel rooms are not that good. Rooms are small and when we visited there was some smell all around the corridor. So it was not a great stay. Service is good.

Booking through makemytrip wasn't a great idea, a nearby Tibetan museum was better, far better by any means, the rooms and toilet are far better. Here, the facilities are very bad and the service ain't that good.

Location is good, services is poor and poor cleanliness, food cost is very high. The floor of the room is not uniform. Ups and downs are there. You can go anywhere very easily from this hotel. This is the only positive point.

Room standard. Location near station 700. Affordable restaurants with tasty food. Go outside for Bengali sweets. Market is too far approx 3 km.. Facilities are up to mark else toiletries.. Staff behave genuinely.

Hotel location is very close to the Big Bazaar Mall and other Bazaar. We had stayed only for a day but found the hotel to be value for money. Good service by the hotel with availability of hot water. Could improve in cleanliness but it was not a major concern.

I have been there 4 days. The location of the hotel is good. We got nearby restaurants. The taxi is also very near. You can see Kangchenjunga Peak from hotel room which is good. The only problem is the management is not that much prompt responsive. If you don't ask they don't open hot water. In one night I didn't find hot water. No people stays at reception, you will rarely find people at reception. We had to ask for soap and tissue. The from gate closes very early. After 9 PM we had to knock on the gate to enter the room. But location is good. And comfort is average.

We booked this hotel after review of being a new hotel.. But it was not worth stay... Rooms were stinking and had no good facility. The cook was on leave and no food at hotel.. Only tea was available that to after 10 mins of order.

Good value for money but the service is bad and it is under construction. The room is poorly beaded and the room is fully damped and bad painted. The WiFi was not available, not even in the waiting room properly but at the time of booking WiFi was shown and no bathroom light was there.

The location of the hotel is very good. But no food arrangement was there at that point of time and guests have to take food outside. Beside no tea bags, sugar etc were provided along with electric kettle. If the same is amended then it will make a big change in whole staying period.

Thanks to the hotel for making our stay so good. The room was bit damp and small. But overall it was a value for money. The location is a big plus point for this hotel. The service was also quite prompt and good.

The hotel location and accommodation is quite good for we college students. The hotel is enough good for giving room service. One can take a five minute walk to go mall road or chowrasta. The place is much scenic to give a rest to your eyes.

Really a third class property new Vaishali Hotel. I was on holiday for 4 night Gangtok and 1 night Darjeeling. 4 night I stayed through Ibibo in suits and super deluxe rooms under Rs. 1000 and it was good. But in Darjeeling I booked through make my trip HOTEL NEW VAISHALI, GANDHI ROAD and I really very disappointed with this hotel and make my trip there was lots of problems Dirty hotel. Dirty room. Dirty bed and bedsheet. Rooms are too small like bathroom. Bugs in the room as well as on bed. Drinking water is like floor cleaning water. Bedsheet and blanket are so dirty. Pillow is not usable. Manager charged 15 Rs per person for entry in the hotel in the name of tourist fees. You can't walk to the bathroom if you are having a single bag to put there. Very small room without almirah. Floor had red mat it was so dirty you can't stand without your sleeper. I will suggest you if you are planning to visit Darjeeling don't stay in new vaishali, even if you get it free of cost.

Location is not far from Mal. Accommodation was also good. The Hotel is clean. But food is costlier than its quality. The hospitality is also not good. The so called Travel Desk of the Hotel does not have any function. We had the bad experience of not finding the Manager most of the times. We had to talk to the Hotel boys for arranging vehicle etc. Hotel boys are also not reliable. They collected Rs. 3,500/- from us for hiring a Sumo for going to Gangtok on condition that the vehicle will stop at Tista rafting point and also for sight seeing on way to Gangtok. But the driver did not stop, even for allowing us to take our breakfast. According to the driver, he was paid only Rs. 2,000/-. The Hotel management could not serve any breakfast even at 8-30am on the ground that the Manager was absent.

The hotel staff is good and give quick response. Only problem is bed was not good it was making sound and as its was chilled climate we have to wait for hot water in bathroom from geyser. Overall average hot and staff is friendly and service is good. Need to make improvement in interior such as bed ,Tv etc.

There was no restaurant facility due to lack of cooks, so we have to get food outside hotel. It is little bit disappointed. And lighting in room was not sufficient and some bulb and cfl were not serviceable. Rest all was good. Behavior of worker and manager was good.

I had booked a Super Delux room. The room are fine and welly furnished but of what use as water was not available from evening 5 to 11in the night. This hotel had spoiled my Darjeeling trip. Food is ok. Staff are nice. If the problem of water was not there then this hotel would have been valued for money. Thumb down for me.
