The property is a well-maintained and beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful gardens, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere to relax and spend time with nature. The rooms were big with open sit-out space, clean, and very comfortable — a definite highlight of our stay. Room service was quick and prompt .The restaurant serves satisfactory food , however the service was slow.The breakfast spread was decent, offering a fair variety of options Ample parking space is available The Gateway Chikmagalur staff was very courteous and helpful , especially the bell boys and Gateway Chikmagalur security. Chandrima at the front desk was prompt and helpful too. Karthik during hi-tea was doing a great job too. We returned feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The Gateway Chikmagalur property’s location is very convenient—right in the heart of the city—yet it feels refreshingly serene, set amidst a vast expanse of greenery and open spaces. The variety of plants and trees across the property is impressive and adds to the overall charm. Facilities were well-maintained. There’s ample car parking space, including two charging stations for EVs, which is a thoughtful touch. The swimming pool is large and inviting, though we couldn’t use it due to the chilly weather during our visit. One suggestion would be to revisit the policy on charging separately for pets. Since guests manage their pet’s food, hygiene, and care, it may be worth considering not to charge for pets. Overall, a great experience—thank you for the hospitality! Ashwani Sinha Bengaluru

Enjoyed staying at this beautiful resort, full of greenery and eye soothing views. Most importantly, the staff, right from the front office to restaurant to housekeeping and service staff - everyone was super cordial and helpful. We arrived around 10.15 pm and their dinner timings were till 10.15 pm. They kept the buffet on till 11.15 pm. Not only, they great care of us and ensured that we get what we wish for. I have stayed in many Taj properties and 5 star properties. But very few take such great care of their guests. Would love to visit here again sometime in the future.

It was an excellent stay. Very curteous staff, well maintained property. The room was very comfortable. I had opted for 2 queen beds garden view cottage. Ambience was very good. We also used the ayurvedic center and the experience was very nice. Breakfast spead was very good and tasty. Dinner buffet was good. We enjoyed the unique dishes of chikmagalur. Special mention of uden menu as a delicacy, fish that was cooked to perfection. Overall enjoyable stay Recommend anyone to stay at this property.

Location is very good. Food is of poor quality considering the 4 star prices. Have ordered items like pizza, pasta and found chef does not know cooking at all. Breakfast was low average quality as all items were repetative and of poor quality. They have to work on thier restaurant and cooking skills. Amenties were good like cycling, access to swimming pool and all. Room services was good and quick.

Perfect. What you can expect from Taj brand. Very asthetically designed rooms. Food was upto the standard. Breakfast was very good. While not visible from outside but huge property.

Good resort, the location is very good more with nature. Rooms are large and neatly decorated, games equipment are good maintained. Most importantly staff are very good and friendly, Evening tea break, live songs, breakfast are of good quality And taste.

We stayed in cottage garden view room. It was very spacious with a great forest view Food was above average as some items can be better Although it's a small property but the resort is well maintained and full of greenery The evening music band is a very thoughtful inclusion not offered by other resorts. One can easily spend the resort itself.

Location was just off the highway... easy to find. Food was excellent. The staff went out of the way to be nice. The only negative was lack of views. In a place like Chikmagalur nestled among coffee plantations and verdant shallow valleys the views from the property should have been spectacular. 4

Overall experience was excellent. All the staff members were very pleasing and professonal. Food was very good, location was superb. One of my best vacation experience
