We booked 3 rooms in this hotel for 2 nights (Aug 15–17) a month in advance for our family and friends (4 adults and 3 kids) after seeing the beautiful photos on the MMT app. But in reality, it was a complete disaster. Firstly, even Google Maps could not guide us properly to the location. After asking multiple people, we somehow managed to reach the hotel. The hotel was a complete shock — there was not even a proper name board, and the road leading to the property was in terrible condition. My car’s underbody was badly damaged on the way. The property is located in a slum-like area, completely unsafe for families. At check-in, there was only one caretaker who had no idea how to manage guests. There was not even drinking water available. Food is not provided here — if you want to eat, you need to drive 30 minutes to Ooty town. Even stepping outside the hotel didn’t feel safe, and without your own vehicle, it’s almost impossible to move around. Auto rickshaws charge unreasonably high fares. The caretaker simply told us, “Bring water and essentials when you go out,” which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. Parking is another nightmare — hardly one car can be parked, and that too only if you’re an expert driver. Because of this stay, my car suffered serious damage. Overall, this is the worst experience we’ve ever had. The photos shown online are highly misleading. I strongly advise everyone NOT to book this property.
