Overall very good stay, break taking views of nilgiris mountains, tea garden, location is exotic, very nice and well behaved resort folks. Right in mid of nature, food was too tasty. Thanks to chateau wood for making a memorable stay for our family!

The location is great just a little off road. I would give a 10/10 for the location. The problem is the stay is pretty old. We stayed at the cliff cottage. There were spider webs and the washrooms were old and dirty. We had to ask the helper to clean our room again. Breakfast was served cold. The place definitely needs to be renovated then it would be a wonderful place to stay. Overall location 10/10 stay 3/10.

Perfect stay to rejuvenate. Beautiful property, offers great ambiance and mountain view. Staff like anus, vijay and naveen are polite and make you feel you are at home and they became good friends. (please include kerala cuisine in your menu) cheers!

I stayed for one day and the hospitality was amazing by an-as and prince. I enjoyed the view from property as it is located at the top. Their hospitality was amazing.

Room with a good view from the balcony. Very nice hospitality. Staff behavior is good. Highly recommend for couples and family. All amenities were good and working condition. It would be nice to add the breakfast items.

Last summer, i visited ooty, a popular hill station in south india. The pleasant weather, the beautiful botanical gardens, and the majestic nilgiri hills made the trip a memorable one. The clean air, the chirping of the birds, and the tranquility of the place were a stark contrast to the noisy and polluted city life. The trip was not just a break from the routine, but also a chance to connect with nature. It was truly an enriching experience.

You will love the view , service , food, and stay. Even they decorated candle light setup for my wedding anniversary. Thank you château for everything 😍

This is an amazing property with beautiful views. An-as who is the main person at the property is so good and very helpful. We were two girls traveling and didn't feel unsafe at all. Though the property is little away from the main places but that's the beauty. They help you with car arrangements so it was easy to commute. The food is also amazing and have different varieties for breakfast. All in all it was an amazing experience

We stayed here for a night and noticed a few things- property is good and secluded. Food is okayish but very expensive. Breakfast options are very limited and average. Service is little slow. One small thing to highlight was that it was our anniversary on the day of stay, so i asked to arrange a cake which they did but while checking out i was made to pay for that which was a little weird because a hotel which claims to be 3 star or beyond offers these small things complimentary. Overall, it was a bit underwhelming stay in terms of the amount charged.

The stay at chateau woods was memorable. From the time we stepped in to the property till the time we left the service was very good. The smile on the faces of people was cherry on the top. The food here is highlight the taste was very good and consistent in all meals. And finally how can anyone forget the view from the property fully surrounded by lush tree plantations. Definitely worth the money.

You need the best side of wayanad ? i would highly recommend you to book your rooms at “chateau woods”. We booked luxury room in july 2023 and we had a very great experience food, view, service what not, i must say one of the best views from the room. You will never regret your decision of taking a stay here.

Pros: wonderful location. Absolutely scenic. Chateau is heaven on earth. Attamala view point is nearest to this place. Dont miss going to attamala view point. Cons:it's a fully isolated place. One should reach this point before sunset as it is fully a isolated place. In rainy season it's very difficult to reach chateau because of narrow, slippery roads. Better visit in winter or summer swimming pool full of chlorine. Staff are too good, down to earth but there are very less number of staffrooms are clean but not so hygienicno tooth brush, no tooth paste bf was too delicious. Even food for dinner or lunch is delicious and not so costly. They cook fresh food and serve us. Don't expect it like taj. But the location it is in, Staff are very caring, they treat us with lots of respect. Hats off to them. Once in your lifet, one must visit chateau.
