I recently stayed at a 5-star The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir - A Fern Crown Collection Resort, and while the luxury and amenities were generally impressive, there were a few notable drawbacks that impacted my experience. First and foremost, the cleanliness was disappointing. Despite the The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir - A Fern Crown Collection Resort's high rating, I found areas in the room and common spaces to be less than immaculate. The bathroom, in particular, had some lingering signs of wear, and there was a noticeable dust buildup on surfaces that should have been regularly cleaned. Additionally, there was a strange odor in the room that I couldn’t quite place, which made the atmosphere feel less inviting. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioning system, which was also a bit of a concern. The air felt heavy, with noticeable dust particles circulating, and it made it difficult to breathe comfortably at times. For a The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir - A Fern Crown Collection Resort of this caliber, I expected a more pristine environment. While the service and location were fantastic, these cleanliness issues were disappointing and definitely affected my stay. I hope they address these concerns for future guests

Great property near Sasan Gir safari start gate, the staff is extremely helpful and will try to help you out in every possible way. Service is also very good at the restaurant. There is one restaurant for all the meals, food quality and taste is good, I will not rate the food excellent. They offer you welcome drink and goodbye gift as a token of great service. The resort also provides free drop shuttle service for guests till the Sasan gir safari registration office location. Lastly, I would recommend the The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir - A Fern Crown Collection Resort to improvise the Spa experience although the rates are quite reasonable but experience could be better.

The property is undoubtedly in a prime location, just 1. 5kms from sinha sadan, where the gir forest safari starts. It is serene and the staff behaviour is extremely nice. The cottages and villa all are good, i found the winter cottage itself good enough & ample spacious with balcony. Special mention to the chef & food of the resort which is absolutely yum & can be modified based on your taste buds and liking. The place is nice enough for a comfortable stay & not atrociously expensive either. Fern also gifted me a parting souvenir. This is by far the best fern resort i have stayed in & i am certainly looking forward for another visit!

The service was excellent, and staff were extremely friendly and supportive, making the overall experience delightful. The food was absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. However, i noticed room cleanliness could be improved to match the high standards of the rest of your services. Thank you for your hospitality, and i look forward to visiting again!

Excellent stay at the fern, sasan girresort. It's a little hamlet in the middle of gir approx 2 km from sinha sadan- entry gate for lion safari. The resort arranges a gypsy for transfers to sinha sadan at a cost. Rooms are beautiful, food is splendid and service is impeccable. Had a wonderful stay at the fern. It had all the amenities needed for a family getaway including a library, games, swimming pool and activities such as yoga session and twilight ritual. Both the breakfast and dinner spread had a lot of varieties. The food was tasty. The staff was not only prompt in service but also courteous. Overall an excellent experience.

Very good location. Excellent hospitality. Highly cleaned property. Staff are very good, well-mannered, and highly trained. The quality and variety of food are amazing. And the property is very beautiful. It has various kids friendly activities.

The fern resort at gir provides the perfect experience for a jungle retreat, the food, the service, the spa services are top notch and the team go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best!

The property is situated near sinh sadan in a beautiful location. The food is amazing. The activities arranged by the resort were fun. It's one of the best places to stay in sasan.
