Shiwani Homestay Rooms (four bedded Room)

The staff's are too good, too communicated. We love the place also. Good to see again. There was barbecue at night. And also a, singer there. To make our trip and barbecue feel good.

Next time I am coming with my family.

Location, food, service was excellent and the stay was very comfortable.

I visited with 3 of my friends during the month of August and we spent a memorable time together at Shiwani Homestay. This homestay is located at Takdah, in the lap of nature and offers an awesome view of the mountains. The rooms were quiet ordinary, but neat and clean. And the food cooked by Shanti didi (the owner) was just so delicious. She took good care of us as well. Loved our stay at Shiwani Homestay!

We checked-in there pretty late at night and left early in the morning, so it was a pretty short stay. It was not that excellent of a stay, and there was no one to attend us. We had to take the luggage by ourselves and on reaching half-way, they sent someone to attend us till room. It was not that easy to locate and google did not show the exact location. The food was a bit expensive considering the quantity. Apart from that everything was fine. The rooms were quite cozy and it was a very homely place. As it was an offbeat location, it was pretty good.

Location was very pretty. The property was surrounded by beautiful sceneries. The market was a bit far. Stay was so enjoyable. We didn't face any issue there. The owner and the staff were well-behaved. They provided food and that was so tasty, like home food. We are so happy with the stay.

The property was good. The host's behaviour was really good and we got a homely environment. The food they served us was exactly the way we asked for. The Rooms were also very spacious. Overall it was a very good experience.

It was a very good experience staying here. The services were good and the location was great. You can relax over there as it is away from the crowded area. You can also visit nearby places. The Valley view from the property was very good. The hospitality of the host was very good and the food which they served was very good. It is a good and safe place for a family to stay in.

The property was a little far from the main Road and it was raining at that time and the condition of the Road was not that good so it was a bit difficult. Overall it was good, the people were friendly and helpful. The food was good and the services were also good. They provided the services on time. The owner was very helpful and helped us arrange the bonfire when we requested. Overall it was a good experience.

Merits awesome morning, very peaceful place, scenic beauty, too far from city's pollution and traffic noise, honest and friendly caretaker. Demerits average food at high prices, no hotel/restaurant nearby to dine, taxi-drivers are reluctant to come here (care taker's non-a/c sumo is available here) Recommended if you have your own transport.

It's a peaceful and beautiful place the homestay staff and the owner is great you will feel like your at your own home. This place is best for everyone family, friends. I hope the government make a good road towards the homestay and also built ATM's near this place but overall the experience is awesome and I will visit this place again. If you love natural beauty then this place is heaven.

Good but very far away from Darjeeling City

Excellent place to spend time with family. Shivani home stay is just awesome, rooms are decent, food is good. The best part is the view from the verandah. In short if you love mountains and nature. You will love it. I had a relaxed and satisfied stay there.

The location was in a remote area so quite hard to reach there, also far away from the market place. There was a mess system and it was a self-service. Food was ok but had limited option there. Room was comfortable with a balcony. All the facilities were there. Can be recommended.

The property was very clean and safe enough, they also provided a vehicle for pick up and drop facility, the Room was very comfortable and I have got all the conveniences. The location was absolutely great, there was a mountain view from the Room and the owner was very good in nature. I can surely suggest to others.

The service by the owner was amazing, the Room was very convenient and there were Hills and mountain view from the Room, the location was excellent and the Road to reach there was also good. The food was very satisfying in taste and quantity, there was some water issue due to cyclone but they have sorted out very soon. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay. I can surely recommend others.

Location of the property was wrongly mapped and in the middle of the jungle. Otherwise, the stay was very nice. The host was very helpful she arranged food for us of our choice also arranged a taxi for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Property is recommendable.

Hosts are always eager to meet all the needs of the guests. Very friendly in nature. Would recommend others to visit the place.

Nice location Food is excellent but Food package price is very costly/expensive Service of host is not satisfactory.
