NIPS Corporate Guest House

I have booked NIPS rooms 2 times in the past 2 months. The first time I was there for 5 days and the next for almost 3 days. The first thing that I was very impressed about was the Location. It is located in EC block in Salt lake. Salt lake for those who don't know, is a well-planned city in Kolkata. It's at a walk-able distance from city center. Will take you max 5 min to walk to City center 1. ATMS, Dhabas, Wine shops, theaters, food courts are all available in the City center. Coming to the service, the Person who guards the place is very hospitable. He speaks Hindi, Bengali and English which was a huge plus point for me, since I am from Chennai. The food was really good. I had ordered only veg (rotis, Dal and mixed veg). Prices are very reasonable for food. Max 150 per dish. The room cost me around 2100 per night which was reasonable considering the location, amenities and the food quality. The people working there will help you if you need anything from the local EC market like fruits or medicines etc. The hospitality was amazing. Since, it's not a NIPS Corporate Guest House, you don't have a swimming pool. The room will have a king size bed, a wardrobe, kettle, milk powder etc. The bathroom has towels. However, the toiletries are not provided. The AC is amazing. Since, it's in the EC block, no traffic, pollution or noises. It's a calm and beautiful place to relax and have fun.

The Guest House is run by the NIPS School of Hotel Management and truly well-managed. The staff were very friendly, well-mannered and always ready to help. The location is perfect, if you want to relax and it feels like a home away from home as, it is in the residential area of Salt Lake Sector 1. It is walking distance to the City Centre in case you want to shop or buy some essentials from the departmental store. The rooms are nice, big and are clean but some upgrade is required in terms of furnishing and bathroom tilings and fittings. Overall, I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Hotel is very near to EC market, City Center. Hotel is clean and calm, location is a little bit interior. Staff are very good and helpful too. Rooms are very clean, spacious and well organised too. Wifi, gym, in-house restaurant available. Toilet is good and toiletries are provided by them. Overall, a nice place to stay that I can recommend it to someone. But I think its price is little bit costlier. They should reduce its price to make little cheaper.

It was nice stay, feel at home and tried to give all the comforts and maintained good cleanliness, value for money good stay in good reasonable price, impressed and one can stay for e short business trip.

Staff are supportive and they take care of travelers choice.

Nice stay at NIPS Corporate Guest House Kolkata. The food was really nice. The service was good. Walking distance from City Centre Salt Lake. Would definitely like to visit again. The staff was very helpful. Nice place to stay. Easily get a cab or bus from nearby.

Nice experience room service is good. Meals are good. Clean and response is very quick. Satisfied.

The USP of the Guest House is its excellent location as it's very close to the city centre. Apart from that, the room, service, etc everything is good. The food, however, was not upto the mark. But in short it's good for the amount I was charged by makemytrip. I would recommend it if your budget is in the 1500 category per night.
