Though it's a small property, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional hospitality. The hosts are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely care about making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, giving off a very homely and peaceful vibe. The breakfast had sufficient options and was delicious. Overall, daiatei homestay is a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and local hospitality. Do not expect 5 star amenities but it is highly recommended for travelers who appreciate personal touches and a welcoming atmosphere! value for money.

Daiatei Homestay in Shillong is one of the finest places I've stayed in, anywhere in India. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are delightful, spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are fine too. The balconies and sit outs add to the charm of the place, and overlooking the world famous Shillong golf course is definitely a bonus! The morning breakfast, though simple, is super tasty. I would recommend this place for anyone planning to stay a few days in Shillong. While there are no lifts yet, the expansion of the homestay being carried out now includes more rooms and a lift!

fine location. The properties staff both Boys and Girls are well behaved. The room was clean with beautiful view. I came with my wife in the evening. one Boy guide us to find the property. Breakfast was complementary and we enjoyed it. We will waiting to stay there in future.

Daiatei had amazing rooms along with the view of the golf links. The rooms were clean and well equipped. I had a comfortable stay along with my family. The staff were kind and helpful throughout the entire process.
