Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid This Place! I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise others to stay away. From the moment I walked in, the room had a horrible smell. Instead of providing a proper air freshener, they handed me an insect repellent spray – yes, seriously – to deal with the odor! Also said that switch off the lights for 2 hour and open the windows. The floor was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The walls were poorly painted, with patches and peeling paint visible all over. To make matters worse, the washbasin in the bathroom was boken. When I approached the managing staff to politely raise my concerns, I was shocked by his unprofessional and rude behavior. Rather than offering help or an apology, he had the audacity to tell me that I was a bad customer! "Aap jaisa ghatiya costomer aaj tk nahi dekha" these are the exactly words of managing team. even though I didn't use any abusive words.....this type of behavior shows that you cant even make a complain. At last we had to book the nearby hotel at the double price because of such circumstances. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable on so many levels. The hotel clearly lacks basic cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service standards. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

After long journey from Gangtok we landed to hotel at around 8 pm and went to room for quick refreshment and after 15 mins reached to reception for food ordering. The man who was at reception was very rude and informed very sarcastically that due to heavy rush food will be ready after 2 hrs. He was talking so rudely and make up the issue for late check in by 15 mins. So bad behaviour. As we were with our kids, we requested them to arrange food from outside or help us to arrange taxi till nearest food corner but we didn't received any support and finally we all went walking with kids at night searching for food.

The paint in the rooms were stained and peeling off due to water retention. The people who were managing the property didn't seem to care about anything. They showed no interest in even answering the questions we had. There was a huge delay to prepare and serve snacks. The garden was good. In the bathroom only hot water came and we had to get cold water from the washroom basin to fill the bucket. Since they were unresponsive, we didn't even care to ask for help.

This property is located at Lower Pelling at a peaceful area surrounded by scenic beauty all around.We ha a wonderful stay here.The rooms were spacious, clean & cozy.l liked the owner of the property Mr.Passang Bhutia personally interacting with the guests. Manager Mr.Zimba and other staff were always ready to assist us with smile.The complementary breakfast was delicious.We really had a relaxing stay. Highly recommend to stay in this property.

We have stayed for a night here. The property is really good. We had comfortable stay. The rooms were neat and clean. The standard room little smaller but delux rooms are pretty large. Property has nice Garden on the side.

Disappointing stay

The location was about 3kms from the main town. The room was small and bathroom was smelly. We were given a ground floor room, so the noise from reception and outside disturbed us till 12 in the night. The room door wouldn't close easily. Faulty lock. The i house dining service was pathetic. Twice i had to change the order. The food came late, was under-cooked and oily. The staff tried to be cordial but that wasn't going to make me ignore the really below average condition of the stay. The hotel is still under construction and utensils could be seen outside the kitchen. I personally found 3 species of insects and that wasn't child friendly. All in all, waste of my money and piece of mind. Ps. Their is not manager at the site. It is been run by some young men who don't know much about the hospitality.
