The Orchard Greens Resort (A centrally heated property)

I stayed at The Orchard Greens in April 2025. It was a nice experience. Location - approx 400 mtrs from Hidimba Devi temple. 3km from the mall road. Ambience was very pleasant and peaceful. Although it's little uphill than the temple, not steep and one can walk easily. View - serene. surrounded by mountains. peaks of some mountains were covered with snow even in end of April. On one side there is a forest of Pyne tree. Parking - car parking facility is available. But no facility for accommodation of driver. Rooms - I booked double deluxe room. it was well organized. Bathroom facility was satisfactory. Amenities- there was no dental kit or shower gel. Handwash, shampoo, soap etc were provided. Hair dryer was provided. Room slipper was there. Room heating and hot water - 24×7 central heating and hot water facility was available. it was very satisfactory. Food - Nov-veg food was available. Food was tasty. Wide range of menu was available. Packaged water was available. Service - Room service was available and prompt. House-keeping service was satisfactory. Staffs - behavior was polite. To sum up, Pros - location, serene view, quiet ambience, away from the noise of the city, well organized rooms and bathroom facility, 24×7 central heating and hot water facility, tasty food with wide variety of menu items. Cons - few amenities could be added. Dental kit, shower gel etc are included in basic facilities now a days.

The The Orchard Greens Resort (A centrally heated property) was located near Hidimba temple at walking distance. The scenery was mesmerizing through the balcony. Food was OK. The room was nice and clean. The room service was quick and friendly. The approach road was narrow and prone to traffic jaam.

Amenities and breakfast were good. Overall very good stay! The views are very good too. The property is 1.5 km away from Mall road which is not that walkable after a tiring day because the region is very hilly.

Overall a good experience. Toiletries could be of better quality but still manageable. Also staff is very friendly especially mention of one guy who bring something important on time.
