The room was not as good as expected. It's too expensive for the amenities provided. No fan/ac provided.

Old building, with average size, cleanliness not so good

Stay was overall good, neat and clean. They have taken lot of care. Little away from munnar apex 15 km. Excellent view from the hotel. Only issue is, good restaurants are not in the vicinity. Of-course available in 2 km radius.

It's good cottage and nearest place. I happy to have time for the weekend

Stay is neat and clean. Host was friendly and helpful. We all liked the stay. Its near to kolakumalai trekking base point as well

We paid enough amount to expect service. Homestay owner is not doing any charity. - At least 5-6 cockroaches found per room, horrible experience. - Foods were never arranged as they had good friday. I respect every religion and people's belief their feeling, but then why can't you prevent taking bookings for those days rather letting the guests harrassed. We had to travel 1/2 km to get food and it wasted our 1 hour time per meal. - Bathroom doesn't have shower. - Room size is big, room ambience is ok. Expectations were high, felt disappointed over the two days. Never felt the care one get in homestays. Anyway lessons learnt, will not visit again (we generally tend to book same hotel that we like).
No shower available, room had Cockroaches, room service was delayed. Sometimes hotelier did not arrange for food. We were very tired after 9 hours of journey.
Too much of external noise. But I won't say it was hotelier's fault. Some local people were using loud speaker outside.
Full of cockroaches. Washroom didn't have shower. Room's sound insulation was not up to the mark.

Stay was pathetic. Room was full of cockroaches. Nothing special. I did not enjoy the stay as it was not well maintained. I would ask people not to visit the hotel again. Room was untidy and guests were not taken care properly. Wr went there to enjoy but it was not good. Not value of money. I bill never go again. Stay was pathetic.

Very beautiful rooms specially balcony view, facilities they have provided is equal to a 3 star hotel.

Clean rooms and simple amenities with good service from the owners . . Good location to go walking down to the dam and enjoy nature. It is a good price / quality deal, if you are willing to visit around the location will allow yoiu to do so . Thanks for the help

It was clean but veey basic amenities, OK breakfast but then it is a budget hotel so fine

The room was clean and overall nice. The shared terrace offers good views and one can enjoy a cup of tea sitting there in the morning. The only negative point about this place is that they don't have an in-house kitchen; eating options are quite limited. Overall it's good value for money.

Present at a awesome location where temperature is never soars more than 23. A very cute and petite cottage with beautiful backdrop views and a lovely balcony with views covering Kolukkumalai and Meesapulimala peaks

The location is good. The service which they have provided was good, the room was neat and clean. Definitely I can recommend Zion to others who are planning to visit kolukkumalai. The Owner are kind and helpful. We got all the facilities which they have mentioned.

The room was clean and tidy. The owners were very helpful and cooperative. Good breakfast and good WiFi. Hot water was available all the times. There was no router disturbance which made the stay more comfortable

Room and service are good ... Location also good, but the Road is closed from Chinking to Munnar from 7a. M to 7p. M, so we are not able to do correct check out @1p. We left from the room @7a. M due to that road blocked ...

Pros: Host is friendly, and helpful and place has a beautiful view from the balcony. Also, you can visit nearby points of kolukkumalai mountain which have breathtaking views, though we have to book a Jeep costing Rs. 4000 since your vehicle cannot travel on the hilly off-road. Cons: This homestay is located in Chinking about 21 kms away from Munnar, so if you are staying for more than a day here, you might waste a lot of time and fuel travelling to and fro from here to Munnar. If by any chance the road connecting the two places (Chinking and Munnar) is blocked, you might end up stuck at your hotel and miss the sight seeing.

Room is neat, all facilities are good, perfect location I would like to recommended to all to book this hotel when I make to vacation plan in Kerala then I would like to always book this hotel wonderful loved it.

Room was fine, located little away from Munnar town. No restaurant in this hotel. This is a homestay. Hosts are friendly .. This is in Chinnakanal, so you get to see 4-5 points on the way from Munnar town.
