To summarize the issues faced: The cottage was dirty and not properly cleaned. The door could not be locked, causing safety concerns. The bedsheet, pillow, towel, and blanket were old, used, and dirty. The tabletop was missing, and staff were found to be intoxicated and unprofessional. The breakfast included only idli, whereas the MakeMyTrip listing mentioned guests can choose one dish, which was not honored. Given the poor hygiene, safety concerns, and service quality below expected standards

We stayed 1 night. Property is old and not well maintained, lots of insects due to nearby water stream. In toilet water leakage was there, TV channels not working.

The property is located almost 16km away from the Munnar town and there is no shops nearby by and the amenities is also not that much good

We stayed in moselberg for two nights. The place was like magic. The view from the room was very pleasant.. special mention about the host. Hospitality was also to the point. Everything we needed was taken care of. Would recommend this stay!!

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. The room constantly smelled damp and musty, making it feel like I was staying in a moist, poorly maintained space. There were loud insect noises throughout the night, and the overall atmosphere felt more like the middle of a jungle than a hotel. The hotel lacked even the bare minimum facilities—there was nowhere to relax or sit outside the room, and nothing nearby to explore or enjoy. It honestly felt like being stuck in the middle of kuradan (wilderness/nowhere). Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or peaceful stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Moselberg Munnar. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely view that made our mornings extra special. The staff was polite and always ready to help, which added to the overall positive experience. The food was okay—not exceptional, but decent enough. Overall, a nice place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
