Shri Trimbakeshwar Temple
One of the 12 Jyotirlingas, this historic temple is dedicated to Lord Trimbakeshwar, a supreme deity of Lord Shiva.
This black-stoned temple is popular for its Linga that embodies the trinity - Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva.
Trimbak, a small town, is where River Godavari originates and Kusavarta, the temple’s pond, is believed to be its source.
