Shrinathji Temple
This revered temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his child form, Shrinathji. It holds great significance as one of the 84 key Vaishnavite shrines in India.
The idol depicts Lord Krishna as a 7-year-old child lifting Govardhan hill to protect the people of Vrindavan. This divine Swaroop of Shrinathji was brought here from Mathura in the 17th century.
Designed like Nanda Bhavan, the temple features a kalasha on the shikhara with 7 flags representing Pushtimarg traditions and a Sudarshana Chakra.
The idol is carved from a monolithic black marble stone with intricate engravings of cows, peacocks, and sages.
The temple follows a detailed schedule of darshans and daily rituals with key ceremonies like Mangala Aarti, Shringar, Rajbhog and Sandhya Aarti.
The temple celebrates major Hindu festivals such as Janmashtami, Annakut and Holi with events that highlight the deep-rooted traditions of Pushtimarg and the Vallabhacharya lineage.
