The Marigold Resort

Not recommend. Room quality extremely poor. They have cylinder gas heater which caused me breathing chock up. Room outside view with garbage. Very dirty toilet and bathroom.

Beautiful rooms with amazing view of the snow capped mountains and green lush valleys. Food was great and staff was good. Had an excellent stay!

Hotel is located between srinagar and gulmarg, so stay in either location rather than staying in middle of highway. From property point of view it doesn't has air conditioner which was big negative for me. Also, bed is quite shack y and noisy. Staff is good and polite and we ordered alcarte which was suprisingly very very good. Breakfast was average.

Ambience was quite good but, water facility was not good, there is no hot water in washroom and ask for water they said that water problem, but we pay for all facilities but there is peoblem that we face in hotel, phone calls was not attending well

I booked this property treating the same to be at Gulmarg but it’s far far from Gulmarg and actually on the outskirts of Srinagar…presently the property is under addition of new segment. A lot of construction was going on. The garden was maintained at all…

1 terrible. Staff service is terrible having bad attitude with guest. Worst experience in hotel experience not preferred at all to other guests

Resort is well maintained and have many facilities.

The room is spacious and has beds installed with heaters (no charge. The staff was courteous and polite. However, the food was average. They don't prepare food. They get it ordered from a restaurant called march masala. Also, there was a leakage in the bathroom of our room, which caused the floor to be dirty. Apart from this, it was a good stay.

Best highway touch location and the food was great. Rooms were clean and property has amazing sitting area.

I had raised complaint about my stay at marigold twice during my stay but the response by mmt team was not effective. The hotel did everything to make our stay memorable in the worst way possible. Rooms were unclean, mouse was there in room, bugs on bed, blood on footreatst, hanging wires from the walls, bathroom was unclean, no toiletries provided, power supply was erratic. There was just managing person in the entire resort. No one was at reception and even after calling for hours no one picked the phone. The managing person kept asking about our checkout as if he wanted us to go away. The place was no where close to gulmarg which was around 1 hour away from the gulmarg even though it appears as one of the top options when booking for gulmarg hotel and resorts. Worst experience of my life.

electricity backup is very poor, even inverter is not available, cleanliness of room is worst, single person available for front office room service and all in all, breakfast is sticky and smelling overall worst stay.

Great rooms with delicious food and amazing kitchen. Only drawback is the location which is 30 mins far from gulmarg gandola but with this price that is also okay… ☺️
