I've stayed at quite a few The Cloud by Daans and resorts over the years, but The Cloud by Daan is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you've left. The property itself is breathtaking & had a breathtaking view from every corner. Our room was incredibly spacious & very clean, and had a big beautiful balcony with a mist view of the hills. Even the washroom had a stunning mountain view! Waking up to clouds drifting past the mountains every morning felt surreal. Trust me, this is not even 10% of what I experienced. But what truly made this stay unforgettable wasn't just the view, it was the people. From the moment we arrived, it was pouring with rain. Varun, who managed the resort, welcomed us with a smiling face and an umbrella and made sure we felt comfortable right from the start. During our stay, heavy rains made it difficult for us to step out for food as there the property has no restaurant unfortunately. Yet every single meal, he arranged for someone to ride a scooter all the way into town and bring food back to us, simply because he genuinely cared about us. Over the three days we stayed there, Varun stopped feeling like a manager and started feeling like family. He checked on us constantly, made sure we had everything we needed, and even helped us plan a safe journey back to Chennai when the floods and landslides disrupted travel. I've travelled to many places and stayed at countless properties, but I've never experienced hospitality like this. It's very rare to build such a genuine connection with someone you've just met, yet that's exactly what happened. If you're looking for a place with beautiful views, clean and spacious rooms, and hospitality that comes straight from the heart, Cloud by Daan is the place. Thank you, Varun, for making our vacation so special. We'll always remember your kindness, warmth, and the way you treated us like your own family. We'll definitely be back.

Trip was good. Stay was very very good. The property is awesome. Rooms were tidy and clean. The room service was excellent. The coordinator was super. He is friendly and helpful at any time. I was with my family and they too had the same experience. The cooperation of them was very very good. The room service is good. Property is quite welcoming and calm. I enjoyed my trip. Truly value for money.

Amazing views. Great hospitality. The road to the property is a bit tricky and there is no restaurant on site. But the staff helped in getting both dinner and breakfast for us from the town.

I like this place because of the good ambience while sitting in the balcony. The receptionist also has good communication skills and is very helpful. The disadvantage is that there is no AC; otherwise, all is good.
