Regenta Beach House Resort, Goa

"I recently stayed at Regenta Beach House Resort, Goa, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Here are some of the issues I faced: - The food was overpriced and didn't match the taste. - There was no staff available to assist with luggage. - No umbrella was provided at the parking lot during heavy rain. - Complaints about cleanliness were ignored, and no staff was available to clean the toilet/bathroom. - The hotel room was not clean, and water from the bathroom/toilet leaked into the room, making it uninhabitable. Overall, my experience was extremely poor, and I would rate Regenta Beach House Resort, Goa, less than 1 star. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

Nice hotel, just a minute walk to the beach, food was super ordered biryani but I don’t understand why they charged 18% gst on food

Location is excellent. Food was good. need to improve on Amenities. Service need to be improved. Facilities for children needed

It was a refreshing stay, the location of the property is good, it is right in front of the beach. You can access the beach easily, have your meals looking towards the sea. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful toou

The location was really nearby a peaceful beach which is the Sernabatim beach the sound of the waves and sand was really cool and calm in the evening Food was also fine and hygienic amenities were a little off the place as power cut was frequently seen but it was quickly resolved and services were a little delayed

Location of the property is excellent. Direct access to the beach compensates for all other shortcomings if you lower your expectations.. more about it later. Food is average. We had the breakfast at the resort and it was basic. Coffee is self serve - you make your own coffee with Nescafé packets and hot milk. Amenities - there is nothing since they just have rooms in this property and lounging area which is primarily used by their yoga retreat participants. Service is pathetic. Response time is extremely slow. Expect 1 hour minimum if you ask for anything - right from food to an extra towel. Staff is almost rude. Not even one person except one guy at the reception smiled at us throughout our 4 day stay. We first went to their adjacent property Regenta Baywatch by mistake. The girls at the reception didn’t bother to assist us.

The visit was a short one day but the place was quiet and very close to the sea. The beauty about this place is the simplicity and quiet stay. A nice break...

The property is excellent with a grand view. Food is good too. The beach is just two mins away. Overall a nice place

Resorts ambiance is good and food is average and house keeping is not good

Hotel is at beautiful location & if one is not concerned much about services or food then it’s good place . Beach House resort is managed by Baywatch resorts (approx 600meters). Staff is courteous but non responsive. They will say yes but consider it as No only 😂 I stayed here for two Days -- on day one I ordered some food, they took order and then after few follow ups & 45minutes i was told that nothing to eat is available . I had to travel to local market for having my lunch (2.30Pm) . I requested for an Iron which they assured I will get in next 10 minutes -- though I haven’t got one during my entire stay..😢 Breakfast was served outside & just one guy was running from pillar to post to manage some 30guests on breakfast table. Few low me had to stand as there wasn’t enough sitting arrangement . Ordered an omelette which I got successfully after 1hr..!! Ask many times for one thing which one will either not get or it will be cold (may be they bring it from Bay beach resort). One can order a liquor at once since it also comes from their main hotel & can take good amount of time ..!! Overall hotel rooms are big & spacious , neet & clean on the beach . But service is awe fully pathetic and for food u have to hunt . I told one senior staff there that your service is very poor imagine instead of asking but was I referring to , he replied “aisa aapko lagta hai” ..😇 Go there if you want to enjoy beach without any expectations from Hotel . .. (but it’s too costly for only location purpose ).

Our stay at the resort was very pleasant and rejuvenating. The house keeping staff was really good and dedicated in upkeep of the room and the property. Situated right next to beach is the biggest advantage. However i feel prices are relatively on the higher side. Food could be bit better. Rest all very good. It was a memorable trip.

It was an excellent experience and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us. My wife was fasting and the chef very kindly provided her the fast dishes. Gauss. John paul and gale all contributed to the homely feel and i would definitely book through mmt and visit again

The property has the potential to be a lot more. The space can be optimised, a pool, a hot tub, all of it can be added, and most importantly the quality of food needs to be made better. Coordination initially was a task, a lack of organized approach is not good for business. The room decor can be improved and upkeep should be done properly. More light inside. Having said this, it's a beautiful property, very well pleasant staff.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was initially excited by the location—it’s right on the seashore, and the beach is just steps away, which is incredibly convenient. However, this was, unfortunately, the only highlight of the stay. For the price, the experience was disappointing. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, so all food is brought in from the neighboring Baywatch Hotel (owned by the same property owner). This arrangement led to several issues: food consistently arrived cold and took about 50 minutes each time. Room service was also slow, and food quality suffered from the delay. We requested to be shifted to the Baywatch Hotel next door, as it seemed like a better option. There was also constant maintenance work during our stay, creating a lot of noise and leaving a strong smell of paint and other construction materials. Additionally, our bathroom had serious issues. Water leaked into the room after each shower, and we had to call maintenance multiple times for various issues, including an unpleasant odor when we first arrived. The hotel lacks any amenities, and if you want to use any, you need to go to the Baywatch Hotel, which requires arranging transport each time—a major inconvenience. The lack of facilities, combined with the high price, made it feel far from a value-for-money experience, especially compared to similarly priced hotels elsewhere. Lastly, this hotel is not child-friendly, with no special accommodations or facilities for young families. Overall, the beautiful location doesn’t make up for the numerous issues, and I wouldn’t recommend it for families or anyone expecting good service and amenities for the price.
