Camac West Homestay

I had booked a room in this 2 bhk apartment for barely 7-8 hours as i had a flight to take in the evening. Checked in at 1:30 pm. The apartment was spacious although the second room was locked as there were no other guests. I was informed later to hat i can use the living room and other shared spaces like kitchen and dining area but can’t use the air conditioner. To use that, i needed to book the entire apartment. Felt absolutely cheated. The place was stinking as we entered. The dining chair looked as if it was brought straight from an under construction site and also unstable. The drinking glasses were dirty and seemed unwashed for over a week. The kitchen was unclean and so were the utensils. They have aquaguard but the lack of hygiene pushed me to buy mineral water through delivery apps. The bed was not comfortable for 2 adults. Linen were stained and so were the carpets in the living room. Washroom was no better. An absolutely avoidable property. Although, the view from this flat on the 9th floor of Camac Court building, right next to Vardaan market is somewhat soothing. When i shared the pic of dirty glass n tray, someone promptly came to clean up but couldn’t do much about the overall experience i had. I did click some pictures for reference. Zero would have been a more fitting rating.

स्टे ठीक था परंतु किचन की हालत बेहद ख़राब है ! कम से कम एक छोटा कुकर, बेलन - चौका और ग्राइन्डर तो अनिवार्य होना ही चाहिए ! अभी केवल चाय - टोस्ट और चावल बनाने की ही सुविधा है ! मैनेज़र से जब मैंने इन सामानों को उपलब्ध कराने के लिए कहा तो वो इस बात का मज़ाक़ बनाने लगे !

Amazing experience, locates right next to park street. Zomatao, swiggy orders also accepted. The security staff is also very nice and there is a lift man for assistance.

Very good rooms with ventilation, bathroom also decent. It is just 100 meters from park street. Very well connected. 24 hours security and lift-man.

The location is excellent. All the places we wanted to visit were a walking distance from the apartment. The apartment is south facing. The entire southern walls in the two bedrooms and the living room are huge windows. In winter time the sunlight streams through them. The host has a larder well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The kitchen has all the necessary items for the guest to cook. The building has 2 lifts and both are serviced regularly. The entire building is clean, and the apartment is very clean and well maintained. The beds have firm mattresses and the sleep quality is good. Once the windows are closed, the sounds of the busy district fades away.

Camac west homestay is a good choice for an extended stay at a reasonable price, conveniently located in the prime camac street area of kolkata.

I have arrived at place but key was handed over to me 4 hrs later after terrible persuasion and ac was also not working at all. Made complains but no heed

Conveniently located in the heart of kolkata can walk to the prime ‘park street’ and quick access to all the places of interest. Clean with good security and equipped with all fully functional necessities.

Great location. Nice apartment. Aircon in living and dining not working. Mattress is too hard. Otherwise the place is great, quite spacious and well located.

It was a great stay specially if you are taking the entire flat, the host mr sanjay was very co operative, the best part is the prime location of the property.

The premises was very neat and clean and host was very cooperative.

Stay was wonderful Good host First time availed services and we hav enjoyed.

It was great. Sanjay is nice. Parking is not there. The watchman's behaviour was really poor. But the host managed it well

I visited along with my family so i had booked both the rooms and had the non- interfered access to whole 2bhk flat which was very well organised and cozy. The kitchenette, living room and common rooms were all well neat and clean. We highly recommend if one wishes to have a safe, comfortable stay at prime location and someone who don’t wanna enter into the trap of wrongly rated hotels.

The person mr sanjay he did not mentioned there was another room in the flat, i could have booked the both. Random people are walking in at late night disturbing by waking up knocking the doors at late night terrible experience.

Excellent property and very convenient to shopping and dining. Property is clean, safe and very comfortable. I will definitely recommend to my colleagues!

It’s a perfect homestay. We 4 people travel-led for kolkata for the first time. The host waited for us till 8pm in the property even in durga puja days. The location is awesome. Centre of kolkata city. Walkable to maidan metro station. Area also very rich. Clean and high in culture. 24 hours lift available. Everything available for cooking. Bowls and kitchenware items. Electrical rice cooker and induction stove available. High speed wifi. It’s awesome stay. Only minus is the geyser in the bathroom is not working. Remaining everything awesome
