Pulickattil Houseboat

The check-in time was 12 pm but they started the boat at 3 pm,, instead of full night, only 2-3 hours they drive the boat and they come back again at the checkpoint. The ac starting timing was 8 pm but they start 10. 30 pm. Poor services & worst experience. Never book this houseboat.

Pullickatil boat house stay is good enjoyed the trip staying in the boat house.

Average houseboat staff is not cooperative this was 2bedroom houseboat we were family of 4 in 1room and they have given other rooms to bachelors we requested thrice please you can accommodate other family with us on this boat otherwise you shift us to another boat they did not listen to us we have to stay on that boat only with them

Not good enough value for money. Neatness in the room is not up to the mark.

House boat was clean, well maintained. The office and house boat staff are good and friendly. Food was good and tasty. Veg and non veg, both kind of foods are available. You can make your request at office with Mr. Pradeep. He is good. I recommend Pulickattil Houseboat for their clean, well maintained house boat, staffs behaviour and helpful attitude. For information of future tourist:- In general all house boat has their own private jetty, they will start at around 1 or 2 pm or after that. Roam for some time and docked at some point. Provide lunch. Post lunch, they again roam around the huge lake for some more time. At around 6 pm, they will come back and docked at the morning starting point. Night people will stay at house boat only. Morning again from 8 to 9 am, they will roam the house boat around the lake.

Worst boat house stay. Ac is default low cooling. Kitchen is dirty. Food is bad. Bed room is not cleaned and bad smell always. Not worthy

My whole family enjoyed a lot.

The hotel staff was very rude. Hospitality was very poor. Many of the amenities were not provided which were mentioned. Rooms were stinking and water was dropping from the roof. No freedom to enjoy. Not at all worth the money.

Impure water, no generator, no ac during boat journey, high cost for food

The Houseboat was in bad condition. Unclean bathroom. Unclean atmosphere with full misquotes on the dinning table. Unhygienic place to eat. Extra people where allowed after 8 Pm after promising with 3 sharing families on phone before boarding. Poor air conditioner which was given after 10 pm instead of 6 Pm. No TV. No music. Food was provided only around 10 pm.

Average boat not good interior and the room condition is not too good.

Owner of Pulickattil Houseboat boat was misbehaving with us regarding food and stay. Other staff is good.

It is not worth money we spent. Overall the hotel is ok

The first impression was not at all good. We had booked independent boat whereas the management was trying if we could be accommodated in sharing basis. At the end when we protested, they gave us independent houseboat after wasting couple of hours. We had asked for special booking of cake but nothing was made available. Also, the boat was docked at the same place where it had started, which kind of didn’t make sense as it was equivalent of a day ride and we could have spent lesser amount and booked a four star property. But once we were on board, the hospitality of the staff was good.

Good Experience but no entertainment, Value of money Good, services super, Candlelight dinner awesome, no words to say about food excellent.

They will tell you the boat will stop at an island or some other village but the fact is they will bring you to the location you started the journey. Absolute theft of your money is what it is. However staff was good and the journey was good but it's not worth the money. My advice would be hire a passenger boat, witness the beautiful backwaters and stay at any other hotel near the beach.

I have booked Pulickattil Houseboat for one of my guest. It was a new experience for them. Really it was a wonderful experience for them A luxurious boat for two, with a large bedroom, with double bed, Split A/C, attached bathroom with hot / cold water and carpet. The backwater is really scenic. The food on board is also awesome Specially non-vegetarian.. Its best place for refreshing your straggler mind. Sunset at this place is such great. Best place for photography. No charges just go and feel your life.
