coupleI stayed in Kalyan 4 room. very attractive to see from outside. Inside had a few issues. The walls are so thin and made of bamboo mat. We could hear every conversation of the guests from the nearby room. Room had an electric kettle but no tea/coffee kits or cups. Property location is great. I liked it. Food was above average. You can order food from a la carte menu. Small lawn is well maintained. Dining room was good. Service was good. However, there were too many waiters and were busy with their mobile phones mostly.

coupleI and my family stayed at kalyan forest lodge during our trip to purulia. I must say that we had a memorable stay in the mud house. It was complete with delicious food and a wonderful guide nab-in who took us to the different destinations and took memorable photos

No intercoms to communicate within hotel as well as reception. Most of the time mobile network outta service. Otherwise your child / kid will love and enjoy the place.

familyThe room allotted doesnot match with that shown in mmt while booking. The room size was only 150 sq-ft compared to 330 sq-ft mentioned in mmt. The room was so conjusted, it was difficult to move around. Total cheating either by mmt or the resort management. Food, location and staff behavior was good.

soloLocation of the resort is very good the staff is very helpful in all aspects. Right from guiding with directions to reach the resort. Cottages are nicely spread out with beautiful views of the surrounding. Ask for the wooden cottages when booking. Inspite of being hill top and remote location amenities are available. Food is of good quality, and is prepared fresh upon order. Safety and hygiene are taken care for. Do take the in house guide nabeen to see all the tourist attractions. This place has a special charm and beauty during the monsoons
