Kalyan Forest Resort

Good Stay

Subhamay Chanda

We had booked the Executive Bamboo hut but the rooms appeared to be small and stuffy without good view. On our request the staff were nice enough to show us all the available rooms. We settled for the Deluxe AC rooms that were newly constructed. But unfortunately the bathroom was a disaster with taps not working properly, geyser connection was not working, and nonexistent water flow from the basin tap. This was informed to the staff who sent some people to check but the problems persisted and nothing was done to rectify it. The next day they offered us the other room but we had already settled in and didn't want to change as anyway we were leaving the next day. Another problem with the particular room was that during the night there was incessant rain and our room got flooded. Next night we had to secure the door gap with two doormats and a towel. The best of our stay was the young boy Kuiri who attended us. He was always smiling and looked after all our needs, served our food in the room and never said no. He was the best part of Kalyan Forest. I really wish him all the very best. The staff were also good but should be more proactive in solving the guest's problems.

Beautiful stay at affordable price

Jaya Kisku

A beautiful stay at an affordable price! The Kalyan Forest Resort is nestled in a quiet location at the foothills of the mountains, offering breathtaking scenic views and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The food was good at affordable price. The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Great value for money, serene surroundings, and excellent hospitality—I would definitely love to visit again!

Food - excellent food as per our choice. Location - inside forest, nice view nearby area. Approach road is good. From resort can go anywhere around Ayodhya Hill. Facilities - good facility overall. Park in the middle looks good. Safety - safe to stay, no such disturbances.
